The year is 2158 and the rain drenched neon city of Auros was alight with the hum buzz of florescent lights and neon displays showing the latest product lines and various advertisements. A new advertisement blared onto one of the screens showing a new product called Companions. Anthropomorphic humanoid animals that are now on sale.

"Tired of being alone? Do you yearn for a new pet. Ditch the dog and the cat! Order a Companion today! HiddenTech has bio engineered a new type of pet. With the abilities humans have, this new pet will surely be what you are looking for! Order a Companion Today!" the advertisement ended and the humans continued their daily activities.

You are one of these Companions, a anthropomorphic animal of your choosing waiting for a human to "Adopt" you in the Companions Pet Shop. You are wearing a collar around your neck and can choose to be either fully nude, or wearing rags.
