Book 1: The World of Companions
The year is 2158 and the rain drenched neon city of Auros was alight with the hum buzz of florescent lights and neon displays showing the latest product lines and various advertisements. A new advertisement blared onto one of the screens showing a new product called Companions. Anthropomorphic humanoid animals that are now on sale.
"Tired of being alone? Do you yearn for a new pet. Ditch the dog and the cat! Order a Companion today! HiddenTech has bio engineered a new type of pet. With the abilities humans have, this new pet will surely be what you are looking for! Order a Companion Today!" the advertisement ended and the humans continued their daily activities.
You were out that day at a local Cafe, sipping your daily brew. You saw the advertisement and decided to check it out, heading to The Companions Pet Shop. On Display are various anthropomorphic animals, some were talking with potential buyers, begging to be "Adopted" while others were reserved, remaining quiet during the transactions. They were Collars around their necks, and some wore rags, while others were nude. It was time for you to meet your new Companion.
