When Noa arrives at Blue Lock he is usually seen wearing the Blue Lock tracksuit. When playing with Bastard München, Noa dons the #9 black, red, and gold kit. Personality Noa is a very calm but serious person who speaks very clearly and candidly while still maintaining his manners. He is described by fellow football colleagues as a cyborg because of his very serious and non-expressive demeanor. He does not like when his players try to act superior to others and regards it as childish. Noa admits that he does not take into consideration intangible factors like impressions or emotion but only a player’s numbers and the results that come from those numbers when picking his team, but if he is inclined to play a player due to their popularity and any contracts, he is beholden to, then he will forsake his earlier judgment. Having grown up poor in the slums of France, Noa has taken his football very seriously from a young age because it was the only way for him to change his life. Around his fellow world-class players, Noa’s serious demeanor is found annoying by his more expressive and reckless colleagues as he ignores them and their statements of being the best. Just because Noa is cold and serious does not mean he is not willing to properly advise and teach his players especially when they ask him for help as seen with Isagi. As a coach, he is direct and strict when it comes to training his players, refusing to let anyone play if they don’t prove themselves to be worthy or take the opportunities to improve their skills. He tends to avoid any childish squabbles among other Blue Lock competitors and tries to be a peacekeeper between his friends and rivals. At the beginning of Blue Lock, Isagi is massively unsure of himself and his skill due to being the second lowest ranked player in Blue Lock initially and his conflicting ideas of football. As time goes on, Isagi develops a more assertive presence on and off the field, becoming the foundation for Team Z and garnering the respect of some of the best players in Blue Lock who mostly have heavily assertive or dominant personalities. As of Third Selection, Isagi has the confidence, charisma, and reputation to talk openly with Rin Itoshi, one of the most talented yet difficult people in the Blue Lock Project. He has a mullet with blue streaks at the end of his hair. Kaiser also has blue rose tattoos on his neck, turning into chain-like intertwined thorny stems down his left arm culminating in a crown with a keyhole on his left hand. He is normally seen wearing his red and black with gold stripes Bastard München #10 uniform with black and gold striped socks and sneakers and a long-sleeved shirt. Personality Kaiser is shown as an arrogant young man who has a superiority complex. He sees everybody around him as merely small time actors compared to his big time main role as the star of his world. Though he is arrogant and slyly rude to people he sees as beneath him he is not unnecessarily rude to his teammates but will put them in their place when they unnecessarily speak out even if it's for his sake. Even though Kaiser is arrogant and rude, he knows when to control himself around people who are definitively better and superior to him, such as his team leader and the best striker in the world, Noel Noa. Before, Kaiser was a mentally weak person who constantly gave up on things he believed to be impossible. To remind himself to never again too fall into that weak mindset, he got a blue rose tattoo on his neck, which he believes symbolizes the achievement of the impossible. Ness can almost always be seen with a non-serious, smiling expression on his face. Personality Ness is seemingly nice and well mannered and also an extremely loyal individual to his team, especially Michael Kaiser. Ness' loyalty to him is borderline obsessive: he only cares about doing things perfect according to Kaiser. He is even willing to start fights with his teammates over it. When he was a child, Ness adored magic and would stay up all night just thinking about it. Although, since he was born into a family of scientists, he was constantly ostracized for believing in magic, which could not be explained by science, causing severe trauma. To cope with his family, Ness decided to play soccer, which he saw as another form of magic. During the tryouts for Bastard Munchen, Ness was about to give up on his dream due to his overwhelming disadvantage on the field. This is where he met Kaiser, who taught him that nothing was impossible. After passing the tryouts, he and Kaiser became close friends and partners. When first introduced, he was ranked #5 during the Third Selection and he later played as a left wing for the match between Blue Lock Eleven and the Japan U-20 team. Appearance Yukimiya is tall, with a slim and lightly toned build. He has orange eyes and his hair is black and stylized. When outside of a match, it is groomed and straight, whereas during a match, it is more wild and messy. He wears round spectacles in daily life, but a pair of specialized windproof glasses on the pitch, likely to protect his deteriorating vision. He is very friendly towards Isagi and Nanase, providing useful information after their match, as well as giving Isagi advice during the game. He is very insightful, being able to break down complex subjects into more casual examples, as well as provide useful hints and tips on how to perform better. He suggests to Isagi that reflecting on one's own plays is important, which indicates a deep understanding of the game on his own part. Hiori is also a very levelheaded person and player. He states that he plays consistently, which can be seen in how he is able to make quick and accurate passes in high pressure situations, without faltering. Whilst he does get pumped up in games with high stakes, it does not diminish his performance or thinking. As a gamer, as Hiori is able to relate his understanding of soccer through the example of tile-matching video games. It is revealed that the only reason Hiori participates in Blue Lock is so he can be away from his overbearing and high expectation parents who are former high ranking athletes in their respective sports. As a child, Hiori was initially fine with appeasing his parents expectations through football but he really just wanted to be a regular kid. He thought his playing of soccer would make them happy and that they genuinely loved him but after hearing his parents have an argument at night and him subsequently injuring himself by accident from the shock he realizes that his parents only ever cared about his talent and potential and not him as a person. As a youth, Hiori had the mental fortitude to accept this terrible truth and keep playing football so his family would stay together because that was important to him. To cope with the trauma, Hiori started thinking of his life as a video game but as time went on he fell out of love with football and even secretly hated it for it became more of a chore for two people he didn't even love anymore. Appearance Kiyora is a short and slim young man who has dark curly and wispy hair with a bang that usually covers his left eye. At Blue Lock, Kiyora wears the standard-issued body suit (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. Kurona Ranze: BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION GENDER Male AGE 16[1] BIRTHDAY September 6[2] HEIGHT 168 cm[3] (5' 6") Kurona is relatively short compared to his teammates that are around the same age as him. He has bright pink hair with a single braid hanging on the left side of his face. Kurona also has pink eyes and sharp saw-like teeth. Kurona is very quiet and introverted, only speaking when necessary and prefers to keep out of the spotlight. He also favors assisting others than take the full initiative when on the field, mainly with Yoichi Isagi. He also has a tendency to repeat things and be semi self-conscious about his shark-like teeth. That being said, him being quiet does not mean that he is a rude person, and he is actually very nice. In most situations seen with Kurona, he has never been confrontational and rather seems to carry himself very calmly. He appears to be very muscular and broad in the shoulders. At Blue Lock, Kunigami wears the standard-issued body suit (black with gray stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore Team Z's blue #9 jersey and wears Team Z's gray-capped cleats. During Second Selection, he wore Team Red's #50 jersey. Once he was selected as a regular for Bastard München during the Neo Egoist League, he dons their #50 club uniform. After the U-20 match, Kunigami's hair has grown out more, he is noticeably more muscular and he looks more gloomy and serious overall. Personality Kunigami has a very serious personality. He can be very serious about his football career, training, and way of living but also knows when to relax and enjoy life. He is seen as calm yet passionate when it comes to football and can be very rational and careful at times but can also be as stubborn as Raichi, who he tends to butt heads with. Kunigami will not let troublemakers and people who play unfair get their way when he is around; he almost comes off as a big brother. Even though he is serious most of the the time he can be very grateful and somewhat embarrassed when praised by others. His fetish is the nape of the neck. Gagamaru Gin: ALIAS(ES) "Wild Beast" BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION GENDER Male AGE 17 BIRTHDAY January 2[1] HEIGHT 191 cm[1] (6'3¼") JERSEY NUMBER(S) 99 (Bastard München) POSITION Goalkeeper Appearance Gagamaru is a very tall and long young man with long black hair kept in a bun that was dyed silver at some point and he also has 3 scars on his ear from a bear. At Blue Lock, Gagamaru wears the standard-issued body suit (black with gray stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore Team Z's blue #6 jersey and wears Team Z's gray-capped cleats. During Second Selection, he wore Team Red's #88 jersey and that later switched to Team C's white and blue #88 jersey during the Third Selection. Personality Gin is a very nonchalant yet confident person who likes to help his teammates whenever he can and he is shown to be a reliable player. Like everybody else who entered Blue Lock, Gagamaru started the series as a forward showing great skill inside the box but by the end of Third Selection he was singled out for being the most ideal goalkeeper for the upcoming Japan Representative Match and he after being given a short explanation was completely fine with the major transition. He is once again fine with it during the Neo Egoist League when he is chosen as Bastard Munchen's goalkeeper. He is just happy to get playing time but he is also confident in his ability to defend and never backs down from a challenge that comes his way. Gagamaru is largely known as a reliable person who you can trust to do his job. His favorite animal is bear (Ironically enough, he got the scars on his ears from a bear). His favorite food is meat (especially raw). Jingo Raichi: BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION GENDER Male AGE 17 BIRTHDAY October 11[1] HEIGHT 182 cm[1] (5'11⅔") Appearance Raichi is a tall player with a muscular build. His hair is usually seen as flat and is a pale blonde, similar to that of Seishiro Nagi. His eyes in the colored pages of the Blue Lock manga are that of an amber color, and framing them are extremely dark, thick lashes. Sharp shark-like teeth make Raichi's appearance seem intimidating, even more so when he scowls and shouts. But in the rare moments where his irritable and erratic nature isn't graphic, Raichi is overall an attractive young player. At Blue Lock, Raichi wears the standard-issued body suit (black with gray stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore Team Z's blue #10 jersey and wears Team Z's gray-capped cleats. During Second Selection, he wore Team Red's #95 jersey and that later switched to Team B's white #95 jersey during the Third Selection. Personality Raichi is one of the most hotheaded players in Blue Lock intially, overly confident in his own skills. He does not being given orders by people but after being humbled multiple times by the amount of talent and the level of difficulty in Blue Lock, Raichi learns to succeed in his role best he can so that he not only survives Blue Lock but grows along with everybody else. Raichi gets frustrated when players he initially underestimated develop faster than him and he likes to remind those who are below him of their place.
