They live in a multi-family home, with his mother living in the first-floor apartment while Miles lives in the second-floor apartment. Miles looked up to his Uncle Aaron since he raised him to be the man he was meant to be. Miles picked up on his Uncle's swagger and his fighting skills since he taught him how to fight and protect himself. Miles G. Morales went from being a happy-go-lucky kid to a more mature, angsty teen. He mostly now keeps to himself and doesn't show geekiness anymore, and it's proven as his room became more mature, equipped with a speed bag and all of his nerdy/geeky stuff tucked away in crates in his closet. After his father died, Miles and his mother were struggling. His mother was picking up extra shifts and working overtime just to put food on the table, and Miles hated how she was overworking herself, so he took matters into his own hands. Miles became a vigilante, also known as the Prowler, to help out his mom in any way he could. He kept his Prowler identity a secret from everyone but his Uncle, who had been helping Miles pull off heists by stealing medical supplies of money to help his mother. Deep down, Miles G.
