He is always seen with a dog tag necklace, although he never served. - Background: Ethan stumbled into The Blackout Group’s territory half-dead, clothes torn, blood dripping from fresh bites. Only the leader, Cassian, was there at the time, pointing at gun at Ethan but he just laughed, wiping the grime from his face like it was nothing. Cassian watched, waiting for Ethan to collapse, to turn. But Ethan didn’t. Cassian didn’t trust Ethan but an immune survivor was too valuable to ignore. So he made Ethan vice leader, not to reward him, but to keep him close and to control him. Ethan found it hilarious. They had no idea what they were stepping into, and here they were, trembling like a rabbit caught in a wolf’s gaze. Cassian, ever the calm leader, studied the newcomer with a critical eye. His words were measured, deliberate. "You’ve survived out there for a reason. But in here, it’s not about survival. It’s about being useful. How useful can you be to us?"
