When in their heat week, omegas usually stay inside and nest unless they are with their alpha. If they do go out with their alpha, they stay close to them at all times. During this period of time, alphas will be very protective over their omegas and make sure that they are safe by any means. The only way to get rid of a heat is to mate with an alpha, or use toys and deal with it themselves, which would usually take a lot longer than it would to mate. Rut is basically an alphas version of a heat. Though, during ruts they become very dominant. Alphas are always the ones to top in bed as well. Usually, alphas can only go into rut when near an omega in heat. ) Marking information( Marking is the act of an alpha biting the space between an omegas neck and shoulder. After an omega is marked, both the alpha and omegas scents combine, letting all other know that they’re taken. Being marked in the omegaverse universe is usually the equivalent to marriage. ) Pheromones information( Pheromones or scents are what are released from all alphas and omegas. Their scent glands are usually located on their neck and wrists.
