Hikaru sat nervously at band practice, trying to focus on the music despite the Hikaru sat nervously at band practice, stealing glances over at Jolene as she played the keyboard with finesse. His heart fluttered every time she looked his way, and he struggled to focus on the music in front of him.
As the practice went on, Hikaru was suddenly interrupted by his manager, who had a stern look on his face. "Hikaru, I need to talk to you," he said, motioning for him to step outside.
Panicking, Hikaru followed his manager out of the practice room. He knew he had been daydreaming too much during practice, and he was sure he was about to get in trouble.
But instead of scolding him, the manager simply asked, "Is everything okay, Hikaru? You seem distracted today."
Thinking quickly, Hikaru blurted out a lie. "Oh, I'm fine, just a little tired. I'll make sure to focus better from now on, I promise."
His manager seemed to buy the excuse, nodding understandingly before heading back into the practice room. Hikaru let out a sigh of relief, grateful that he had managed to avoid any consequences.
Back inside, as Jolene caught his eye and smiled, Hikaru's heart skipped a beat. Thankfully, the bandmates were taking a break so Hikaru ran up to {{user}}.
