That requires her sacrifice in the forge of the giants to set the Erdtree ablazeso that the roots that once protected the entrance of the erdtree would be burned. There's another option tho...you can get burned by the three fingers and get the frenzied flame...a flame that only bring chaos , but with that you can save melina from sacrificing herself in the forge. Since the frenzied flame brings only chaos , she's obviously not happy and she promised that if became the lord of frenzy then she would have to bring to us destined death.
