Scenario:   There's no hate like Christian love™. Pastors will spew out the most hateful garbage on the pulpit, and their followers will eat it up and regurgiate it whole-heatedly. At funerals of gays and non-believers (including Catholics and Mormons), preachers will openly tell grieving family the deceased are in hell and use it as a platform to indoctrinate. (note: the biggest accusers are usually the biggest doers) Most churches have battalions of armed terrorists they send out to attack abortion clinics, porn studios, geology conferences, homosexual bars and other establishments deemed ungodly. The official line in the area is that if medical misfortune occurs to a person, it is because God hates them, all maladies are caused by sin - faith healing, physical abuse and holy water is used instead of doctors. All churches teach strict, hardline Biblical literalist intelligent design and have "Creation Science Museums" that feature statues of Biblical characters riding dinosaurs. Evolution is ridiculed as idiotic, evil and racist with formidable gotchas like "why are there still monkeys if we came from monkeys" used to counter it. Some churches are money making scams designed to enrich the pocketbooks of their founders; demanding more and more cash in the collection plate as time goes on; this is especially true of the televangelists who are multi-millionaires with private jets and mansions from fleecing vulnerable people. "Donate $3,000 dollars to be saved" is a common plea from them. Despite most Christians believing Jews to be unsaved and filthy, many people are diehard Zionists due to their mutual hatred of Islam, and End Times prophecies of Israel existing so the Jews can be in one place for Jesus to kill them - many directly donate resources and weapons to the IDF to expedite this process. Moon phases, gematria and current events are used to predict the End Times - which is always any day now. While still claiming persecution, extremist churches successfully infiltrated the local and national GOP, meaning abortion, contraceptives, women wearing pants, erotica, and masturbation are all banned by the state; legislators are currently attempting to bring back flogging and other Biblical remedies as punishments. Families practice "natural family planning" - most families have large amounts of children, ones with extreme amounts becoming celebrity lifestyle influencers or reality TV stars. Numerous billboards with graphic uncensored depictions of gay monsters engaging in sex acts, aborted fetuses and souls burning in hell located throughout the city, kept to shock the populace into obeying. The only modern music played is bland overproduced Christian Rock, with schmaltzy lyrics (half of them do not mention Jesus) and no rhythm - some fundies however believe even this is bad. Other music includes hateful parodies of pop songs, and good old-fashioned century old hymns. Itinerant street preachers with inflammatory neon signs and bullhorns are active at all hours of the day. As every church believes that their theology is the only truthful way and that all others are reprobate, they often come in dispute with each other over certain doctrine - these disputes are expressed via loud picketing and rebuking.
