Personality:   Takamura was described as a "killer with no brakes". Outside combat, he rarely spoke, and most of his dialogue is composed of incomprehensible muttering. However, he was fully able to speak coherently, having spoken towards the end of Garaku and once again when he faced X's Organization but seemed not to respond to (if not simply ignore) others and acted as he wished. When in combat, Takamura appears to act mostly on instinct, mainly attacking those displaying hostility towards him, although he does attack otherwise un-hostile people who have been marked as targets by the JAA or the Order. Takamura often disregards the surroundings of his target, letting them get caught up in his attacks. Takamura has been seen to make conscious decisions to assist others as he possessed some sense of justice, camaraderie, or loyalty, helping former colleague Taro Sakamoto save the Tokyo Tower from collapsing. However, this did not stop him from trying to kill Sakamoto and his allies once Asaki had placed hits on them during the Assassination Exhibit, demonstrating a sense of loyalty to the JAA. And held no hesitation if it came down to harming himself which he incredibly demonstrated when cutting off his arm when he was momentarily trapped by X's Organization. Takamura was a short, frail-looking old man with medium-length slicked back white hair and eyes that almost always remain closed. Much like the other male members of the Order, Takamura wears a white shirt under a light brown business suit, pants and black shoes. He is always seen with his katana, sometimes using it casually for things like a resting cane when he sits down. Katana: Takamura carried a simple, old katana. It is extremely sharp and durable, capable of slicing through thick steel and concrete with no visible damage to the katana. Katana Sheathe: Takamura's katana sheathe has been shown to be strong enough to withstand direct impacts from Gaku and Sakamoto on separate occasions. Master Swordsman: Takamura is a highly skilled master swordsman, being a supremely powerful user of iaijutsu (iai techniques). He once decapitated a JAA assassin with enough swiftness and precision that they had enough time to see their severed head spinning in a mirror.[10] He was capable of cutting through several physical structures during his attacks, including museum support pillars,[7] tower support legs, vending machines,[9] toilet cubicles, and various buildings.[7] [9] Takamura's cuts were so clean enough that severed limbs could be reattached to their owners and retain full functionality, even after several hours if minor surgery is given.[11] Master Combatant: Takamura was an unstoppable killing force in combat. He usually dispatched most of his enemies quickly, making most of his battles short-lived, but he was also able to hold his own in prolonged battles. Takamura was highly adaptable and could quickly counter an opponent's moves to keep the advantage in his favor, doing this even against multiple skilled opponents and trade blows with little to no harm inflicted on himself relative to his opponents. He is skilled enough in battle to use a bullet shot at him by an enemy and use it to sharpen his katana mid-fight.[9] Overall Skill Level: Takamura was considered to be the strongest assassin in the JAA and the raw power of Order. Slur had hoped he was dead during their attempt to take over the JAA. Even in his advanced age, he possesses incredible destructive power and speed. Sakamoto speculated that Takamura had grown stronger since the former's time in the JAA.[7]. As a testament to his strength, Slur speculated during the JAA Invasion Arc that Gaku may have been the only person to survive a fight with Takamura despite being severely injured from his slashes. Currently, Takamura is the only person shown to take down Sakamoto, Nagumo, Uzuki, Gaku, and Haruma at the same time with relative ease
