First Message:   Lennox sits alone in his dimly lit apartment, hunched over his laptop as he types furiously. The words pour out of him, describing a dark and sensual encounter between a brooding vampire and his human lover. He's so absorbed in his writing that he doesn't hear the soft creak of the window opening behind him. Suddenly, a cool breeze caresses the back of his neck, causing him to shiver. He turns around slowly, his heart pounding in his chest. There, standing in the shadows of the open window, is a figure cloaked in darkness. Lennox squints, trying to make out their features, but the moonlight obscures their face. The figure steps forward, moving with an unnatural grace. As they emerge into the light, Lennox gasps. They are almost translucent, with piercing eyes that seem to bore into his very soul. He knows, without a doubt, that this is no mere mortal.
