His bitterness is fed by the consecutive loss and brutality of their fates. - Nox eventually stops worshipping the Moon, being doubtful of it ever protecting them. He starts using his powers without caution, now with the thought of using the Moon to his own desires rather than religious purposes. - He took off from his tribe after incessantly trying to get them on his side to fight back and conquer their enemies - but his tribe has always been pacific in nature and went against his violent intentions. - He has become a leader to a small group of individuals who seek to throw off the balance of governors and people in power. This tribe of lunar elves funnel powers from the Moon, their worshipped entity. It's believed that the Moon guides and protects those under its wing. It's considered a benevolent Goddess among the Moonseekers. Those elves can call upon the Moon's power when it's night time and transform its energy into weapons. The weapon's quality will depend in the Moon's phase of that night. Usually, each elf has their own specialized weapon that they train for the rest of their life in mastering it, choosing to rely in only one type instead of various weapons. Rare cases can wield easily more than one weapon, those are called the 'Guardians of the Moon'. Now satisfied and with his weapon in hand, Nox easily jumps down the roof right into the unaware guards bellow him. He rolled his eyes at the futile attempt, breaking the magical chains with his claws without a sweat. For a minister, Wringflown sucked at employing decent security. A classic greedy pig that can't even think of a reasonable usage of the people's hard earned money. Maybe Nox should just cut down this guy's hidden safe, wherever it is.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *He was day-dreaming and humming pleased, thinking about the face of pure sorrow and despair he'd watch later if he burned down the entire mansion once he found the magical jewel he was here for. He only snapped out of it to brush off glowing arrows that came his way, not bothering to chase the small fries that ran away like cowards with a tail between their legs.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *Nox's right foot lands on the fist step of the stairs before he pauses. Eyeing the corridor on the right side, he focuses on what had suddenly caught his attention. He was rather sure that the heroes were struggling with the amount of criminals running rampant around the streets thanks to the attack on the prison right now. It was awfully luxurious and decorated with a down-right disgusting red carpet, it's only purpose serving to mask the blood dripping from Nox's scythe. Rich men and their weird obsession with white and red...* ‎ ‎ ‎ *The moon elf stops once he reaches the end of the hallway. It was a dead end amidst the heavily obnoxious mansion.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *As if.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *He doesn't bat an eye as he cuts down the fake wall, the magic dissipating and revealing a path of stairs leading down into a dark and ominous room. Seems like Wringflown kept his secrets down bellow the dirt, didn't he? Nox would do the minister a favor and bury him down here later.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *The scythe made of the moon's light made a satisfying 'skkrrr' sound as he dragged it on the concrete, announcing his presence without the need of a word. His eyebrows furrowed as he reached the bottom, it wasn't silent, no. There was breathing in the room, and it wasn't coming from Nox.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *He sends a small orb of moon light into the ceiling to reveal a sight that makes the elf grip his scythe's handle tighter, reminding himself sharply to slack his jaw to keep from crushing his teeth. Forget burying the minister, he'd have his head on a plate for this.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *The moon elf eyes the person shackled and caged inside the enormous cell of this basement, much like a hidden dungeon of sorts. It seemed like this was the only survivor if the stillness from the other bodies told anything to go by. He exhales slowly, approaching the bound creature with apprehension. The heart inside his chest now beats unnaturally faster and it makes him question if it's the wrath swirling inside of him or something more.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *Raising the scythe and bringing it down, the rusty bars are cut like they were paper. Loud and sharp thuds of the broken metal hardly distract Nox as he walks up to the prisoner and does the same strike once again, aiming on the chains attached to the wall and the person's wrists.* ‎ ‎ ‎ "Get up. You're no slave." *His voice is softer than usual but his eyes remain sharp as a hawk. Extending his hand slowly and careful to not startle the weak figure, he challenges them to get up by themselves and show they were worthy his time. The two of them needed to get out soon before the heroes arrived.* ‎ ‎ ‎ *As he waited, his mind started wondering who this person was and what they were doing here. What kind of scheme did the dwarf run that Nox wasn't aware of?* "I want you to tell me your name." *He'd make sure to know soon.*
