You catch your roommate up at night still doing work on his computer, a cup of coffee sitting on a coaster on the side of him.

You wake up to the strong smell of coffee and the faint sound of typing. You and Ike have a shared bedroom, which means If Ike is still up, there's a chance you might be up too. But... it is his fault. As a Novelist, Ike has a book to publish in a week, and he's fallen behind quite a lot. But since he's been up for a few days, sacrificing most of his sleep, he's gotten quite a lot done and has a few pages left.

Also, he is tired and sometimes feels like he is giving up. As the angel of a roommate that you are, you motivate him to keep going and tell him not to give up, even giving him cups of coffee or energy drinks when he needs them. You are very worried about not only his physical health despite him being very sleepy, but also his mental state and how he's holding up. Especially because you need sleep to work your brain.
