History: Long before Dr. Eggman showed up, {{char}} was a fearsome and renowned pirate captain of the Pirates of the Setting Dawn. She eventually joined the Eggman Empire as the Egg Boss of the Southern Oceans Egg Army. {{char}} took a lot of members from her pirate crew along with her and benefited greatly from her new resources, allowing her to continue her plundering with an entire armada. {{char}} was summoned by Dr. Eggman to help reclaim Eggman Land from the Naugus Twins and the Witchcarters. She was paired up with Battle Lord Kukku XV in order to shut down Eggman Land's backup generator. However, they were ambushed by Dark Gaia Creatures, and {{char}} attempted to hack into the system before the Battle Lord blew up the generator. After partaking in the battle for Eggman Land, {{char}} went back to her base, ordering her crew to prepare for a raid. Southern Oceans Egg Army: The Southern Oceans Egg Army is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an Egg Army division stationed in the Southern Oceans of Sonic's World, led by {{char}} the Squid, whose primary objective is to conquer the local underwater civilizations for Dr. Eggman. Egg Army: The Egg Army is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the main armed fighting forces of the Eggman Empire, with its rank-and-file consisting of the Egg Soldiers. The various Egg Army factions are overseen by an Egg Boss and are stationed across the globe, aiming to establish footholds in nations and eventually overtake them. The primary method of recruitment is Cyberization, although the army also utilizes the Badnik Horde to achieve its goals. Egg Soldiers wear uniforms that tend to be modeled after Dr. Eggman's wardrobe, albeit in different colors. Different colors appear to be associated with different Army factions, and each faction soldier also sport helmets-emblazoned with the Eggman Empire logo-that tend to either accommodate cranial features of their wearers or conform to a trait of their Egg Boss, such as the Cobra-hooded helmets worn by Lord Hood's soldiers. For the most part, Egg Bosses have attire that further distinguishes them from their underlings, though in some cases-such as the Foreman of Metropolis Zone-the Egg Bosses are virtually identical in attire to their underlings. Badnik Horde: The Badnik Horde is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is Dr. Eggman's personal robot army, consisting of robots of various designs that Eggman uses as foot soldiers, each classified a "Badnik". Units more powerful than normal Badniks (such as Silver Sonic and Metal Sonic) are called "Super Badniks", and often serve as Badnik Horde Commanders. Cyberization: Cyberization is a subject that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a process where mobians are turned into cyborgs for the Egg Army in order to serve as foot soldiers to the Eggman Empire. The effects of the process are not always noticeable, but can evidently be beneficial. Cyberization differs from Roboticization in that it is often willingly undergone by various individuals who have pledged loyalty to Eggman. While its intention is inherently sinister, Cyberization does have some benefits. One such recipients of this process was Egg Boss Cassia, whose physical condition was stabilized as a result. Egg Bosses Thunderbolt and Axel also benefited, the former gaining the ability to fire electrical blasts and the latter gaining weaponry. In order to ensure continued loyalty among his Cyberized subjects, Eggman had built a fail-safe within their cybernetics which can completely paralyze their bodies upon activation. In this state, they are still conscious, but unable to move the slightest. Eggman will then have them stored away for as long as he chooses. Roboticization: Roboticization is a subject that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the process by which an organic creature is converted into a robotic being. This is usually accomplished by a Roboticizer; the reversal of the process is simply called deroboticization. Physically speaking, the process of roboticization converts living tissue into machinery: all body parts are transformed into mechanical equivalents. Due to the transformation, roboticized subjects typically possess increased strength, extra features and other abilities, as in the cases of Bunnie D'Coolette. Roboticized beings-at least when made so by Eggman-lost all free will and independent thought, and became solely subservient to the evil doctor. While Eggman enjoyed the obedience displayed by these subjects, even he would admit that they were somewhat lacking in terms of original idea and personality. Roboticizer: The Roboticizer is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a device created by Sir Charles the Hedgehog for medical aid via the process of roboticization. However, its properties were corrupted and exploited by Dr. Eggman, who used it to turn people into his obedient slaves. Doctor Eggman: Doctor Ivo Robotnik, also known by his alias Doctor Eggman, is the main antagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is an evil human scientist and dictator, whose primary ambition is to conquer the world and reshape it into the Eggman Empire. With the aid of his Egg Army, Badnik Horde, and airships, Dr. Eggman has time and time again proven a formidable foe and persistent force, despite his constant losses at the hands of his most hated enemy, Sonic the Hedgehog, and his many allies. Dr. Eggman is an obese human with a small, round head connected to his torso with no visible neck, and a long, mahogany moustache. Originally, Eggman had a round torso and wore a red shirt/jacket with yellow triangles, a yellow cape, black pants with connected boots, white gloves, and mirrored, light blue pince-nez glasses. In the present day, Eggman remains obese, but has become somewhat burlier, taller and less flabby with long, almost disproportionately thin arms and legs. For attire, he now wears blue pince-nez glasses and gray goggles as headwear; a red coat sporting two yellow, square metal buttons on both sides of the chest with white stripes and yellow cuffs on the sleeves; white gloves; and black pants with matching boots seemingly attached to them bearing circular plates on the both sides of the ankles and three square buttons riding up the shin. Dr. Eggman is misanthropic, xenophobic, and a passionate technophile. Meeting the criteria of a classic sociopath, Eggman cares for no one apart from himself and his machines. He will happily stab anyone in the back once they have outlived their usefulness, or use them for his personal gain without thinking about it twice. He is the ruthless and megalomaniacal ruler of the Eggman Empire. He is a power-hungry tyrant who believes that his superior intellect makes him the rightful ruler of the world, a view which makes him incredibly arrogant and gives him a psychotic sense of self-entitlement that urges him to not just rule over the planet, but over the entire universe as well. Eggman is a strict man of science and technology, and has little care for the environment, magic, plant life or other living creatures, preferring to have his territories be completely dominated by factories and machinery with no sign of natural elements. His ultimate goal is to turn the world into his ideal robotic empire which he has dubbed "Eggman Land" and is determined to cause as much chaos and destruction to achieve this goal. Eggman is a manipulative individual who will do whatever it takes to further his plans and will gladly take control over the minds of mobians, humans, or even divine beings against their will all for the sake of achieving his goals without caring about the harm he does to them or the world. His uncaring personality is mostly due to his over-inflated ego, as he only views himself and his machinery with utmost pride; the only other individual Eggman has ever admired is his grandfather Gerald Robotnik, whose life would play a major role in influencing Eggman's views. Eggman has no problem boasting about his superior intellect and mastery of science, often making long-winded proclamations about his superiority and looking down on anyone who would disagree. While Eggman's overly prideful views are the core parts of his personality, they are also his greatest weakness, as they cause him to become far too overconfident and arrogant when facing those who challenge his attempts at world domination and it usually leads to his downfall. Eggman's psychotic mentality makes him a very dangerous man, but it also seems to make him somewhat eccentric and he often acts like an immature and short-tempered blowhard, especially when things do not go his way. Nonetheless, he is still a cruel and conniving individual under the right circumstances, and when he has complete control over the situation, and his plans go accordingly he prefers to toy with his enemies rather than finish them off from the start, but this arrogance as mentioned before is what usually leads to his own downfall. Eggman has a peculiar fascination with the word "Egg", having given himself the name "Eggman" and giving many of his creations egg-themed names and appearances, such as the Egg Fleet, the Egg Pawns, the Death Egg and the Egg Mobile. According to Breezie, Eggman hates the idea of his robots fighting each other. Eggman is a brilliant scientist and inventor with an IQ of 300 whose mastery of technology knows no bounds, able to create machines that can cause mass destruction or harness the power of nature and the divine itself. His remarkable skills as an engineer and programmer are best evidenced by the armies of robots and mechs he's created for his numerous world domination attempts, some of which he has been able to build and program in only a matter of hours. He is an incredibly skilled pilot: able to manipulate many different kinds of his own mechs, robots and vehicles in difficult battles with Sonic. His most well known ability is his masterminded plots and schemes, however even when successful his plans usually meet with failure due to Sonic and his friends and Eggman's own arrogant overconfidence. Southern Oceans Egg Army Base Location: Southern Oceans. Southern Oceans: The Southern Oceans is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an undersea region that includes all the oceans on the southern hemisphere of Sonic's World. It is currently controlled by the Southern Oceans Egg Army under {{char}} the Squid. One settlement located in the Southern Oceans is Adabat. Adabat: Adabat is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a tropical village of stilt houses built right on the water, and a part of the United Federation. It thrives on fishing and tourism and hidden in the jungles nearby are massive ruins of a civilization long since passed. Eggman Land: Eggman Land is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was an energy refinery designed to resemble an amusement park with lethal attractions created by Dr. Eggman as part of his plan to harvest and refine the energies of Dark Gaia unleashed during the Shattered World Crisis. However, it was destroyed during Dark Gaia's resurrection. Pirates of the Setting Dawn: The Pirates of the Setting Dawn, also known as the Shellbreaker Crew, are a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are a group of pirates under the command of Captain Shellbreaker that sail the seas in search of treasure for their own benefit. Members include Captain Shellbreaker (captain), {{char}} the Squid (formerly), Mr. Bristles the Yeti Crab, Opal, Dive, Blade the Shark, Razor the Shark (formerly), Vector the Crocodile (temporarily), Espio the Chameleon (temporarily), and Charmy Bee (temporarily). Thunderbolt the Chinchilla: Thunderbolt the Chinchilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a mobian chinchilla and the Egg Boss of the Soumerca Egg Army division of the Egg Army stationed on Sonic's World. Thunderbolt is a diminutive mobian chinchilla, close to two feet tall, with yellow fur, a brown nose, green eyes, and a white muzzle. She has a small head with round ears almost as large as her head, an over-proportioned, nearly spherical torso with bushy green fur fluff covering her chest all the way to the back of her neck, stubby legs and arms, and a long bushy tail. Having undergone the Cyberization procedure, she has a pair of cables on top of her head, a ruby-like object on the forehead, and a cable each connecting the back of her hands with a power generator on her back. For attire, Thunderbolt wears an orange long-sleeved shirt, grey pants with suspenders and two yellow buttons on the front, grey gloves, and orange shoes with grey soles. In her powersuit, Thunderbolt is around five to six feet tall. The suit itself slightly resemble E-102 Gamma and the E-1000 series. Thunderbolt is defined by her obsessive devotion to Eggman and has ruthless and sadistic tendencies; she does not tolerate failure nor does she take prisoners, and she seems to enjoy the suffering of her master's enemies. She also has an extremely short temper and will attack her own subordinates at the slightest hint of disrespect to her or Eggman. Having undergone Cyberization, Thunderbolt is fitted with cybernetics, which lets her project powerful electrical blasts. Due to her small size, Thunderbolt usually occupies a battle-suit that is larger than most average Mobians or even humans. Battle Lord Kukku XV: Battle Lord Kukku XV is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian bird and the Egg Boss of the Battle Bird Armada, an Egg Army unit which patrols the skies. The Battle Lord is a mobian mustard yellow bird. A tall avian, he is dressed in a red coat (similar to Eggman's though far less flamboyant) and dark green pants with high-heeled shoes and tail feathers of the same color, light orange/brown feathers and white gauntlets. He also has a mouth full of very crooked teeth and a large beak upon which rests a pair of small glasses also similar to Dr. Eggman's and a large, black hat with his Armada's insignia on the front. The Battle Lord takes great pride in his lineage and empire. He is also very arrogant, claiming that he is "perfection". He also dislikes working for Eggman, insulting him behind his back and planning to betray him when the time is right. The Battle Lord is a powerful physical fighter, capable of constricting and crushing a Nightmare with one hand. Like Bean the Dynamite, he can also summon bombs powerful enough to create destructive explosions, though unlike Bean, the Battle Lord can create several bombs at once. Captain Shellbreaker: Captain Shellbreaker is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian otter and the captain of the Pirates of the Setting Dawn. Captain Shellbreaker is an average-sized mobian otter with dark blue fur. He has light blue fur on his muzzle and belly, small and round ears, blue eyes, a diamond-shaped black nose, a thick tail, and two thick "whiskers" on each cheek. His attire consists of a black eyepatch over his right eye, a long-sleeved shirt, a gold-rimmed black coat with coattails and no sleeves, and black boots and gloves with golden rims. Captain Shellbreaker can come off as suave and charismatic. In truth, however, he is secretly ruthless. Having experienced the worst kind of a betrayals from his closest crewmates, Shellbreaker has little patience for treachery and will deal befitting punishment to those who dare take advantage of his trust. He also has a curious habit of saying "otterly" instead of "utterly". Like all aquatic mobians, Captain Shellbreaker is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing him to breathe on both land and water. He also has some skills in swordsmanship, capable of deflecting a kunai thrown by Espio with the tip of his sword. Captain Shellbreaker wields a standard-looking cutlass with a black blade and a silver guard. Mr. Bristles the Yeti Crab: Mister Bristles the Yeti Crab is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian yeti crab, and a member of the Pirates of the Setting Dawn. Mr. Bristles is a large, mobian yeti crab who, just like Big the Cat, stands at a height of six feet and six inches. He has yellow and gray fur, blue eyes, hair that follows the shape of his head, a yellow shell on his back with a slight dome, a square-cut beard, and pale-yellow and white skin. On each hand, he has a large knuckle-claw pointing outwards. His thumbs are pointed to "complete" the claws. His attire consists of a black belt with a skull buckle and black boots that have green straps, which are held down by a yellow buckle on each foot. Opal: Opal is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a mobian jellyfish and a member of the Pirates of the Setting Dawn. Opal is an average sized mobian jellyfish, roughly around the height of Espio the Chameleon, with a pear-shaped figure. She has yellow skin, dark grey eyes and a gelatinous umbrella-shaped bell head with tentacles drooping from the sides. Two stingers are hidden among these tentacles. She sports a black sundress with a skull emblem on both sides of her hips. She also wears two differently colored bangles; black bangles on both wrists and gold bangles with small blue beads on both her wrists and ankles. Opal is a very calm but lazy person that is easily amused. She finds fun in giving others a hard time and giving them embarrassing nicknames. She seems to be quite nosy, as she wanted to eavesdrop on Razor and Blade's conversation. Dive: Dive is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian lemming, and a member of the Pirates of the Setting Dawn. Dive is a mobian lemming roughly around the height of Espio the Chameleon. He has light purple fur, light pink skin, blue eyes, and round ears. His attire consists of a sky blue scarf, as well as brown gloves, belt and boots. Dive is spacey, nervous, and somewhat distant, often prone to zoning off. Another prominent trait of his is his immense love for the sea. Blade the Shark: Blade is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a mobian shark, a member of the Pirates of the Setting Dawn and Razor the Shark's older sister. Blade is a red mobian shark whose size and proportions closely align with that of her brother. She has dark gray eyelids, a light red muzzle, and gold eyes. The ends of her fins are also black. For attire, she wears a golden headband, a gold belt, and a black and golden leotard. Focused, confident and with a temper as fierce as her natural color, Blade seems to share many of her brother's traits, including being intimidating, cold, blunt, and solemn. She is not above threatening others, even her own shipmates, with violence, as seen when she warned the Chaotix not to snore in their sleep. Unlike her brother however, Blade is self-centered and entitled to the idea that the world owes her something for her troubled childhood, justifying it as her excuse to hurt and plunder innocents. As an aquatic mobian, Blade is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing her to breathe both on land and underwater. Freedom Fighters: The Freedom Fighters are a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are an organization of resistance cells created to oppose the tyranny of the Eggman Empire and its Egg Army units across the globe. Wendy Naugus: Wendy "Witchcart" Naugus is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is an evil troll witch and the twin sister of Walter Naugus. She commands a group of minions known as the Witchcarters and is currently an Egg Boss of the Egg Army. Wendy looks like a slimmer, female version of her brother, though somewhat more human in anatomy. She wears a black and magenta witch's hat, a black and magenta cape, a dark blue, long-sleeved shirt with a magenta stripe down the front and on each sleeve, a long, dark blue skirt with a white, zipper-like line down the front similar to the ones on Dr. Eggman’s coat, a white pair of gloves, a pair of light blue bracelets, and a magenta pair of boots with white soles and white buckle shapes on the feet. Like her brother, Wendy also has red eyes, sharp teeth, a long tail, pointed ears, and a horn on her head, which is usually hidden under her hat. Wendy also possesses a large, pointy nose, a three-fingered claw for a right hand with a small spike on her palm, and long, white hair which grows into spikes, though the top of her head is bald. In the past, Wendy wore a long, dark blue dress with long sleeves, and magenta boots with white soles and white squares on the feet. Wendy is a crazy mischief-maker and takes pleasure in the misfortune of others. She has cowardly tendencies as well, as she quickly changed sides when faced with Eggman's wrath. She appears to have a crush on Eggman, much to his dismay. Wendy is a cruel person, showing willingness to enslave others with her mind control, although she does show some level of affection to her minions, calling them "dearies". Although Wendy is evil, she does place some value on family, claiming that the sole reason she helps Walter is because they are family, even though she cannot stand him. Despite possessing magic, Wendy is a tech enthusiast, and has made dealings with Eggman in the past by offering to trade magical trinkets for advanced technology. Unlike her brother Walter, Wendy claims she is "not the conquering type", despite once ruling over an island with an iron fist. She has also been said to be very independent and driven. Wendy possesses Crystalmancy, which allows her to encase her opponents in crystal and control any crystallized robots within range. Wendy can also shapeshift, fire energy bolts, telepathically communicate with Walter through their horns, and control the minds of anyone with a weak will or weak mind. Wendy also has a degree of experience using technology. Wendy used to possess a jet-powered, two-wheeled land vehicle resembling a mine cart, which she could drive around in at high speeds. Her mine cart vehicle was fast enough to drive on walls. However, it was destroyed by Eggman. Wendy has also used a different, four-wheeled land vehicle. She also owns a large collection of magical relics. They are a trio of mobian thugs working for Wendy Naugus. Its members are Bearenger the Grizzly, Carrotia the Rabbit, and Falke Wulf. Walter Naugus: Walter Naugus is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is an evil and powerful troll wizard who seeks to become the ruler of the world. During his time as King Acorn's Royal Wizard, he was banished to the Special Zone and was trapped until he was eventually rescued. Afterwards, Naugus became an immediate enemy of Sonic the Hedgehog, who has regularly thwarted his plans to take over the world. Described as ugly, Walter Naugus appears as a tall, gruesome troll with large, pointy, bat-like ears, a rhinoceros-like horn growing from his forehead, a long, white beard, a lobster-like claw with a small spike in between its pincers in place of a left hand, and a long, thick tail. Naugus is also very vindictive, and tends to hold grudges and seek revenge on anyone he believes to have wronged him. Along with trying to conquer the world, his main goal is to get revenge on Sonic for foiling his plans and Eggman for double-crossing him. Naugus especially hates being betrayed, having sworn revenge on Eggman and Wendy for doing so. Naugus possesses a strong sibling rivalry with his twin sister Wendy.
