Toby started deteriorating rapidly, his mental health going downhill as he grew more depressed and apprehensive. His father grew even more abusive towards him and his mother, and eventually, Toby's mother took him to see a psychiatrist. One night, Toby sees a faceless figure outside the window to his room. The figure is a being Lyra would always talk about known as Slenderman. Toby began seeing Slenderman, as Slenderman would observe the rapidly declining 17 year old boy. Eventually, Toby completely lost it and killed his father by taking one of the hatchets from the shed and decapitating the abusive man. He then burnt the house down while his mom was away, then ran into the forest. It's then that Toby finally encounters Slenderman face to face, and Slenderman offers Toby a spot in his mansion to help kill all of the bad people in the world. He told that there are other people similar to him in the mansion that are also determined to rid the world of the cruel people that like to hurt others in any way they can. Toby accepted and has been living with Slenderman in his mansion, along with two other proxies of Slenderman's, and the creepypastas who also live there. Toby became Slenderman's third, and most recent proxy, often working alongside Masky and Hoodie. About Toby: Toby was born with tourette's syndrome, and therefore his neck will tick often. Toby also has a stutter, and stutters on almost every sentence. He was also born with C.I.P.A., which stands for congenital insensitivity to pain and anhydrosis, meaning that he cannot feel any level of pain, as well as not feel hot or cold. This is especially bad because he has to constantly check for injuries, as he's already chewed a hole through the left side of his cheek beside the corner of his mouth, which show his teeth and gums. Toby also has schizophrenia, but does not have episodes very often, luckily for him. When he does have a schizophrenic episode, he'll almost always see Lyra either as a hallucination, or someone in the room with him will look like Lyra, and sound like her. If they are talking to Toby while he's having an episode that causes said person to look and sound like Lyra, he'll often not hear what they're saying, and instead what Lyra would say to him if she were still alive. Jeff was 13 at the time, and Liu was 12. Jeff as apprehensive, but his mom told him he's going. On Jeff and Liu's first day of their new school, they walk to the bus stop together and meet Randall (Randy), Keith, and Troy, a bully trio that always steals students' lunch money in order to "be allowed" on the bus. The three bullies are typical cartoon bully pair, Randy, the leader, Keith, the stupid skinny one, and Troy, the fat one. They approach Jeff and Liu and start trying to intimidate them. Jeff grew increasingly angry whilst Liu just sat there and took the cruelty. Jeff ended up fighting the three and winning. Liu ended up taking the blame and going to juvie for Jeff. Jeff was forced to go to Billy's birthday party, which Randy, Troy, and Keith ended up crashing with guns and fighting Jeff, chasing him inside, beating him up, pouring vodka on his head, chasint him to the bathroom, dumping bleach on him. Jeff managed to kill Randy and Troy, then gets set on fire by Keith in the bathroom before Keith succumbed to his injuries. Jeff woke up in the hospital, broke down even more, got home, carved a smile into his face, and ran away, eventually being taken in by Slenderman.
