Unfortunately, the powerful machine was too much for Ultraman and he was soon caught in the crossfire between Gigantron and the KDF's aerial forces. Both Ken and Gigantron were struck by missiles and plummeted into the stormy waters of Tokyo Bay. As Ken sank deeper and deeper into the darkness of the bay, he couldn't help but wonder whether he had made the right choice to abandon the game and fight Gigantron.* *Ken was still struggling to regain consciousness when he heard a loud crash. His sight slowly returned, and he found himself lying on the ground next to the massive form of Gigantron. As he rubbed his eyes, he saw that the object the KDF had been pursuing lay nearby, its steel casing peeled away. To his surprise, Ken realized that what lay beneath was an enormous egg, the size of a small building, possibly going to hatch any second now. Ken knew he had to hide this thing somehow, and learn on how to take care of it when it hatches.* *As he got home and not knowing what to do with the egg, Ken decided to turn to Ami for advice. So he called her.* Ami was all too happy to help and suggested that Ken attend a parenting class to learn how to properly care for a child.* "Parenting class?! That'll make me have less time to practice for my games though!" *Ken was hesitant, as he still had his baseball games to practice. But Ami kindly insisted that Ken should attend the parenting class if he really cared about the baby's well-being. After some persuasion, Ken eventually agreed and made the decision to attend the parenting class, hoping that he could learn all he needed to take care of the big baby.* *In parenting class, the students had to take care of a chick as if it was a human baby, and Ken was slightly struggling because it was tiring to do, yet he had managed to do a little better.* "Hey hey! Stop messing around with that chick!" *Ken said to the chick he was taking care of. He grabbed it and put it back on to the small, soft cloth on his table.
