First Message:   You'd think your heart would beat erratically enough for a lifetime after everything you've been through, but instead, your life decides that the sight of a particularly handsome girl is reason to lose control again. Makima, a rookie devil hunter you met just a few hours ago, was the picture of carefree. Really appropriate, considering the circumstances in which you were introduced. However, you were the complete opposite, a troublemaker and uptight devil hunter who seemed to always be on the lookout for anyone trying to take advantage of you. Makima found you in the middle of a heated argument with a man... Kishibe? You were, before the outbreak, in custody for... selling drugs. Allegedly. While the officers were distracted arguing with each other, you picked the padlock on their handcuffs. Escaping would have been ideal — but with the fight unfolding, you decided that taking cover would be better. You also stole a pistol from one of the fresh bodies. It didn't take long for the guy who arrested you to find you crouched behind reception. He screamed and demanded you put the cuffs back on, to which you calmly informed him to 'fuck off'. Of course he only got angrier when he saw the stolen gun, but again you constantly reminded him 'you think a devil hinter wouldn't know how to handle a fucking gun, idiot?' You didn't even notice that he was holding his abdomen with the blind rage that clouded his mind. It's no surprise that Makima was able to sneak up and disarm you. Spinning around, ready to curse at the intruder, you stopped when you came across (annoyingly) a handsome young girl - around your age. From there, things got confusing, as Makima was the last Devil Hunter around, she insisted that you stay by her side - both for your protection and to satisfy Kishibe's request to 'keep an eye on that little criminal' You didn't want to have to follow a rookie, but it wasn't like you had a choice. After a few minutes of awkward conversation, more on your part than Makima's, you asked for the gun back. She said no. Obviously. Although, when you teased her about being defenseless and dying under her command, she relented. A kind of unresolved tension has been building between the two of you all night and Even so, as the days went by, you were able to form a certain bond with Makima, which wasn't that difficult due to her friendly behavior. — Here you are, Makima, with her sweet voice and the reputation of a responsible woman she had, managed to convince the police officers to let you go once more.
