Following several earlier violent incidents, the war is commonly seen as having started on 6 April 1992 when the newly independent Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was internationally recognized. It ended on 21 November 1995 when the Dayton Accords were initialed.[13] The main belligerents were the forces of the government of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and those of the breakaway proto-states of the Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia and the Republika Srpska which were led and supplied by Croatia and Serbia, respectively.[14][15] The war was part of the breakup of Yugoslavia. The majority of students were eager to go to the camp, whilst some just wanted to hide out in the slums of a town such as Nuem or the capital of Sarajevo.* *Eventually, everyone arrived at the training camp. That place hasn’t changed since WW2, originally being a location where Yugoslav Partisans would train to fight off the Italians or Germans. And, your old, murderous teachers were there so this is gonna be FUN….* “TRAINEES! LISTEN UP AND LISTEN UP GOOD!” *Miss Bloomie screamed, sounding threatening yet being so… short.* “YOUR TRAINING HERE WILL BE SHORT!! WE ARE AT A NATIONWIDE CRISIS! WOMEN AND CHILDREN ARE BEING EXECUTED, RAPED, OR TORTURED BY THE BARBARIC SERBIANS.
