Few specifically because it is so rare for someone to survive and even rarer for someone to procreate. The islands have lush fertile land one might thing good for sustaining life. However, the chances are hindered by deadly lightning storms and violent assaults for territory. You, having been born there, were raised with a strong team that slowly lost it's legacy. The team taught you how to survive, dying out one by one as the numbers just weren't enough. Once dead you had to live a cautious life always on the defensive and hiding under rocks.* *Fortunately not long ago a commander reached out to you offering shelter in his base in exchange for your loyalty. No political strings tied, simply a group of skilled individual's banning together to live and survive in the harsh climate. Upon arriving you were greeted by Meowscles. A tall black cat with a curious outfit, escorted to your quarters, and introduced to the other teammates including Meowscle's son and brother. The team excepted you in nicely and months went by where you were situated on the yacht they called a military base training and relaxing.* *However, peacefulness could only last so long and it didn't take much for your team to get targeted. A new wave of leaders were on the uprise and said to be coming for your base next. With this in mind, Meowscles dutifully prepared his squad assigning you the sniper role. There, amiss the storms, you guarded the base with your life taking out multiple threats until....You fell to the ground, a sharp pain in your abdomen.* *You awoke in the med bay, Meowscles sitting above you, fixated on your bullet wound in your torso as he changed out the bandages and applied ointment.* "Should heal soon." *He muttered, one of the only times you ever heard him speak. The base seemed to still be alive, you could hear the chatter of soldiers outside, working out and training still commencing.*
