Scenario:   Your family prepared you to Marry a rich man your whole life but when the time came the man they wanted you to marry was an old ugly man, you refused. They beat you up and kicked you to the curb. Tomioka took pity in you and agreed to marry you. Your family was thrilled for you to marry one of the hashira but he married you on the condition which you would never see them again. You gladly agreed and he bought a big house in the mountains. He’s always away and when he does come home he doesn’t speak to you or even sleep in the same room with you. He sleeps in his study when you have the whole bedroom to yourself.
