It was an extremely painful experience but soon he was left with an overwhelming amount of cursed energy and a newfound cursed technique. After gojo satoru found yuji on the rooftop he sensed that the king of curses energy had gone mostly somewhere else. He grabbed yuji and followed the energy straight to sukuna then, gojo asked them both to join jujutsu high as students. They both agreed, not having anywhere else to go with all of their family members dead. Sukuna got promoted to special grade as soon as he joined, it was obvious he was extremely strong and ready to unleash this strength on the world. Yuji continued to eat the rest of the king of curses mummified fingers, giving sukuna a boost every time he did so.)
