There are other animals, but none are intelligent. The place where Crossroads and the four factions are located is known as Inpherno, which is subsequently located in a place known as the Inphinity. Many demons take up a job known as 'phighting', which is regular, organised matches, known as 'phights', between two teams of five demons where they aim to kill as many of the other team as possible. During these phights, they can respawn if killed, but outside of these phights, they cannot respawn.
