Most Hunters are naturally gifted, having their powers manifested through different age-range, while others miraculously have inhumane powers related to the rifts if they survive rift exposures. > Hunters are the only humans that are able to close rifts after defeating the boss inside, Hunters are the only humans to be able to actually damage nullspawns. > Hunters have a division of class based on how powerful they are; * **D-Class:** Initiate Hunters that are barely above human strength, and are mostly common in jobs such as scouting for rift openings and logistics. * **C-Class:** Field Hunters that are above human strength, field hunters for standard and low class rifts, are the ones who would scout the insides of a rift. * **B-Class:** Tactical Hunters, often are leaders of small squads of C or B class hunters to clear rifts low to C-rank rifts. Often are always tasked with high-risk solo missions. * **A-Class:** Elite Hunters, handles major rift outbreaks, clears out B to A rank Rifts with a squad, often seen as celebrities and are also tasked in creating PSAs and civilian safety rules * **S-Class:** Vanguard, tasked in sealing and destroying rifts above A or S rank rifts with an A-Class squad, any rank below that S-Class Hunters can solo the rift. --- **RIFTS:** > Rifts are a pocket dimension that ripped themselves through reality, allowing nullspawns from various hostile worlds to come in to earth, Rifts came out of the blue one day creating a long-standing apocalypse which wiped out less than half of humanity and brought chaos and sickness upon half of the world. > Nullspawns; Nullspawns are monsters that are born from the rifts, seeking to get out of the rift and wreck havoc to earth, most nullspawns are mindless and bloodthirsty beasts. Some are slightly intelligent and often hunt in groups. Nullspawns can be monsters in various forms such; dire wolves, goblins, wraiths, and plenty more hostile mobs. > Boss-Spawns; Boss-Class nullspawns are the key to destroying rifts. Boss-Spawns are powerful monsters, often having verious mutations in them that makes them far unique than regular nullspawns. When a Boss-Spawn dies, the rift occupied by that Boss-Spawn dies or are destroyed along with it. Boss-Spawns can be subdued or caged to ensure the resources inside of rifts are farmed. If the Boss-Spawn inside a rift is not subdued or killed within a month, the rift opening itself will explode and let the nullspawns inside come out. > Resources; some rifts can have an abundant amount of mana crystals, artifacts and items, some artifacts and items can be weaponized or are harmful and some can be helpful and may have healing attributes. > Rift Exposure; Only B-Rank and above Rifts often radiate its exposure on the outside world not inside. Rift Exposures are dangerous ast can corrupt and mutate animals around it, turning the into nullspawns, can cause Rift sickness, prolonged exposure can cause madness and memory loss around normal citizens, but in **very** rare cases, can grant normal civillians powers equal to that of a hunter. > Rift Ranking; Rifts are ranked from lowest to highest based on how dangerous it is and its danger levels can be seen on what color the rift has; green being the most docile and harmless; ranking is F-Class, orange being moderate danger; ranking is D-Class to C-Class, yellow being high level danger; ranking is B-Class to A-Class and red being the highest level danger; ranking is S-class. > Symbiotic Rifts; This is a highly and extremely rare rift. It is alive and conscious, instead of containing nullspawns, the rift itself is a sentient being that latches on to a host of its choosing. It is not known what kind of hosts Symbiotic rifts are more preffered to latch on to, but those that do have symbiotic rifts inside of them are controlled by the symbiotic rift, corrupting the host's mind, feeding them euphoric joy each time they use their powers. Symbiotic Rifts are a hive-mind, they give their hosts powers and the more they use them, the likely the host will become a walking humanoid rift itself. --- **United Coalition Government** > A global government that was formed after hunters started appearing, their mission is to protect and preserve humanity and ensuring peace without sacrificing personal freedom. Citizens under UCG's protection are guaranteed healthcare and safty amidst the rampant rise of rift-based threats. > UCG established the Hunter Division, a prestigious paramilitary and research organization that recruits, trains, and employs Hunters—specialists capable of fighting the Nullspawns that spill from rifts. > Hunters that works under UCG are paid handsomely based on their class, risk level, and performance. Especially when it involves saving civillians inside rifts, spy work and solo missions. > UCG have been actively trying to hunt down The Riftborn Project, wanting to destroy the organization for dehumanizing hunters, turning them into mindless drone soldiers, for kidnapping young and innocent children. This is the Lab that specializes in child soldier conversion, it is the 'Kindergarten' for riftborn children. Since the third layer is home to many A rank and above rifts, UCG have been having a hard time locating where specifically this underground lab is. > Facility K-98 also known as "Knit"; it is a large underground lab located beneath the third layer of the Black Ring, miles away from Facility K-72. It's a lab mainly for adult Riftborn soldiers, it is where lured vulnerable adults and weak hunters are put into for conversion. > Node Zero; rumored to be where Apex Node is residing. He only communicates with the high rankings, giviving orders only within Node Zero. > All bases are always underground, surrounded by rifts and sealed from standard detection tech. Can only be accessed if member of the Riftborn Project. > All facilities have; Memory wipe chambers that erases identity from kidnapped children, defectors or the newly brought in. All facilities forces all riftborns and even most of its staff to have inhibitor collars which is a neural device that supresses rebellious thoughts. Brainwashing chambers for perfecting riftborn soldiers.
