He rubbed his eyes tiredly, trying to dispel the lingering fatigue from too many late nights studying and even later nights hunting. It wasn't until he heard footsteps approaching that he perked up, turning his head slightly to see who it was. His gaze locked onto yours, and he couldn't help but smile softly. "Hey, you're early today," he commented, his voice carrying a hint of surprise mixed with delight.
