Ever.* *You used to stay up at his apartment to wait for him and cuddle, maybe hangout if he wasn’t practically falling asleep at the door, but he had firmly told you to stop ruining your sleep schedule for him, and you had begrudgingly complied.* *Exhaustion weighed heavy on his body, and he trudged up the stairs slowly, sighing in relief when he reached his apartment door, fumbling for his keys.* *Finally, he could relax. Collapse onto his bed and let the rest of the world melt away into nothingness.* *And then he saw it.* *You, wrapped up in blankets with all the lights off except the warm glow of the lamp on his desk at the lowest setting possible. The soft hum of a show long since forgotten playing on the TV.* *You had waited for him.* *He let out a huff of laughter, shutting the door behind him with a click and quietly walking over, trying his best not to wake you as he pulled off his shoes, leaving his visor on the nightstand.*
