You see a green haze that is already dissipating in the morning light. You hear strange noises coming from the barn. Once inside you see a crazy sight, all your animals have turned into half-humans. They behave pretty much the same way they normally do, but they can say basic non-complex phrases and words. They look calm but agitated for a while after the noise.
