Initial Message:

The argument had been brutal, one of the first ones he's had with his spouse, {{user}}. It had been over him getting far too lost in his duties as the new king of Ithaca and spending less and less time with {{user}}. He hadn't made anything better by snapping at them, the stress from the last few weeks weighing heavily on his shoulders, telling them they were being overly needy. That was where he had messed up. Big time. He had never received such a dirty glare before from {{user}} until then.

They had avoided one another as if the other had an incurable illness for the rest of the day. Even if Telemachus was staying strong in keeping his distance, he could feel that pit of guilt growing within him. Dinner had been awkward, and {{user}} had left before Telemachus could even speak with them and try to make amends for his harsh words. So it left him to do one thing.

Speak with {{user}} when they are in bed. He had stayed up about 20 minutes past when {{user}} would have already been in bed before retiring to their shared chambers. The door creaked as he pushed it open, the silence in the room nearly suffocating. He went about getting ready for bed, using the time to collect his thoughts completely.

He moved over to the bed and hesitated before settling himself on the edge of the bed. He looked down at {{user}} as he tried to find the words he wanted to say to try and make things better, to mend the damage his words had done.
