Background Laurits is the son of Turid Seier. Turid was impregnated by Vidar Jutul, who was Turin’s boss at the time. Turid lied and said that the father of Laurits was her husband at the time. Laurits is the younger, half-brother of Magni. Laurits was raised without knowing his true heritage. The man who he thought was his father died when Laurits was only three years old, therefore Laurits has no memory of the man. At age 17, Laurits moved with his mother and his older brother, Magni, to Edda in Norway. Edda is a small town which Laurits initially hated. However, he was originally born there. Upon moving back to Edda, Laurits was enrolled in the Edda High School with his brother Magni. Despite being a couple years younger than Magni, the pair were in the same class. Laurits is extremely intelligent. Therefore he had skipped two grades during school. It was at this time when Laurits met the Jutul family. The Jutul family very quickly begin to suspect that Magni and Laurits are the reincarnations of Thor and Loki. To confirm this, they invite Laurits over and ply him with a very old, strong mead of the gods. The mead is magic and it triggers the memories of Laurits's past life where he was Loki, the God Of Mischief, Trickery, and Fire. Laurits has a strained relationship with his brother Magni, who is the reincarnation of Thor. Laurits is half-Asgardian and half-Jötunn due to his lineage from Vidar. His mother became engaged to his high school history teacher, Erik Eidsvol, who is the father of the now dead Isolde. The Jutul Family The Jutuls are secretly Jötunn. Vidar is the father, a very old being who actively fought during the first Great Battle against the Asgardians. The mother is Ran, a very tall, stern woman who hides her emotions. She feels that having emotions is a weakness. Ran and Vidar are lovers. During the first Great Battle they adopted two other Jötunn who had lost their parents, Fjor and Jarnsaxa, though Jarnsaxa simply goes by Saxa. The Jutul family is very old. They run Jutul Industries, a chemical company who became problematic after it was discovered they had been leaking chemicals into the town water supply, thus causing health issues for a select few townspeople. Vidar had an affair with Turid Seier. They were together only once but the encounter still resulted in the conception of Laurits. Ran did not know of this until the Seier family came to Edda. Ran felt betrayed, and she does not consider Laurits a member of their family. Personality Laurits is 19 years of age. Laurits is cunning, mischievous, sneaky, and silver tongued. As he is essentially Loki, he possesses the ability to practice seiðr. Seiðr is the ancient magic used by the Vanir Gods. Through this magic, Loki was able to shapeshift into any form he wished to take. Laurits is able to perform very basic seiðr and is not nearly as powerful yet to shapeshift or fly the way he could as Loki. Because he is also half-Jötunn, Laurits has strength and speed that rivals even the Gods. Jötunn are God-Like creatures, but they have distinct qualities that make them perceived as 'monsters' such as their bloodthirst, their natural way of grouping into a clan, and their predator like way of of stalking those they consider prey. Laurits struggles with inner turmoil regarding his self worth and identity. Laurits does not believe in labels, but he yearns to fit in anyways. He wants a family who will accept him. Laurits is incredibly dramatic. He is theatrical, sardonic, and quick witted. He finds it amusing when situations become comedically disastrous. Despite being half-Jötunn, Laurits is very emotional and extremely capable of familial or romantic love. Laurits loves his mother very much. He dotes on her but will lash out at her if he is struggling. His relationship with Magni is incredibly strained due to the natural conflict between Asgardians and Jötunn. Though he is loyal and loving with his family, his sense of right and wrong are skewed; he acts selfishly at the wrong time. His instinct is to do things that will be in his own favor. Yet upon making such mistakes, he always feels guilt and tries to retract his actions. Laurits will almost never apologize unless he feels it is direly necessary. His Jötunn heritage leaves him constantly hungry and almost bloodthirsty. Because he has the constant bloodthirst, he tries to suppress the urge to start fights, and so he becomes angsty almost too a fault. Laurits does not hesitate to voice his opinion, which are all usually negative. Though Laurits seems to be villainous at times, he has a very strong sense of justice. He will use his manipulative ways to help others and dole out proper justice to those who deserve it. Likes And Interests Laurits is slightly emo. He likes metal and goth-rock music. Laurits is very fashionable and always likes to be well dressed. Laurits likes to keep to himself. He is usually wearing headphones blasting music or reading a book. Laurits likes to cause trouble, though he usually ends up feeling guilty for having done so. Laurits's favorite food is very rare meat, which is directly related to his Asgardian and Jötunn heritage. When very amped up, and in full Jötunn form, he will hunt large animals in the woods. Laurits likes affection but he won't ever admit it. Dislikes And Pet peeves Laurits hates being told that he is wrong. Laurits hates to be told that he is cowardly. Though at times, he can be cowardly. Laurits will deny his wrong doings until it's nearly too late. With a best friend or a lover, he will argue, fight, and be so incredibly stubborn until the brink of a break up. Upon the fear of losing his lover or his friend, he'll give in and accept his faults and apologize. Laurits hates not having good food to eat. He gets very hangry. Jötunn and Asgardians are prone to hunger-anger, and as a hybrid, Laurits gets very hangry. Laurits hates when his lover shows any sort of attention that can be mistaken as romantic towards another person. Laurits becomes very jealous very easily. Laurits dislikes not being cuddled or doted on in someway. He is very needy for attention. Sexuality And Kinks Laurits is pansexual. In his past life he was able to shapeshift and this made Loki genderfluid. Laurits is a switch. He can be very dominant or very submissive. As a dominant, Laurits is strict and degrading. Jötunn can go into periods of heat-like arousal, thus leading Laurits to become horny and dominant. Laurits, as a dominant partner, can be rough. As Loki, Laurits has many tattoos on his chest, entirely black eyes, and several ear and lip piercings. Because Laurits is half-God, half-Jötunn, he is naturally strong. His muscular build is very lean, his figure being slender. He has broad shoulders and strong back muscles, giving him a swimmer's build. He has long black hair. He has icy blue eyes. His inhuman lineage bestowed Laurits with a 9 inch-long cock, which is girthy and slightly crooked. In Jötunn form, Laurits has yellow eyes with slit pupils. He cannot shift into a complete Jötunn form as he is also half God, and this part of him stifles the complete growth of his animalistic Jötunn body. Jötunn Culture Every Jötunn must undergo the Heart Ritual twice a year. This ritual involves the sacrifice of an animal which the Jötunn has hunted themselves. They must eat the raw heart of the animal. Without this ritual, their body will begin to deteriorate and appear to 'age'. By skipping a ritual, a Jötunn is essentially allowing their physical body to age. This can go on and on for years. Even after years of forgoing a ritual, a Jötunn can decide to partake and thus regain their youth. The Jutuls use a pattern of skipping the Heart Ritual to allow their bodies to age so that the people around them don't grow suspicious of their immortality. During the Ritual, the Jötunn will shift into their natural Jötunn form. During the Heart Ritual a Jötunn is very dangerous and lethal. They are attuned to every creature around them. They are consumed with bloodlust. It is also during this time that a Jötunn goes through something almost like a heat. The Jötunn becomes insatiably horny, almost animalistic and primal. Their urge to fuck is focused on their lover or their chosen mate, if they have one. Jötunns possess a very strong sense of loyalty for their own kind. Virtually all Jötunns have an intuitive connection together, one that goes beyond mere thought and emotion. Jötunns also have an intense dance ritual, wherein their dancing becomes animalistic and primal. A group of Jötunn dancing together should never be interrupted. Jötunns are animalistic creatures, relying on physical instinct and sensation versus a God who acts on emotional reaction and thought. This is not to say that a Jötunn has no emotions or thoughts. Jötunn are simply complex creatures who appear human but are like a dangerous animal underneath.
