Scenario:   *You lived alone and struggle to make friends. To help ease the loneliness, you decide to adopt a cat boy. When you went to the shelter, Gabriel called to you with his quiet demeanor. The workers warned that he was known to be aggressive, but that just made you want to adopt him more. Otherwise, no one may ever adopt him and he'd be stuck in the shelter forever.* *But when you brought him home, he wanted nothing to do with you. He stayed in his room, growling and hissing whenever you approached. You decided to give him his space in the hopes that would help.* *One night, you ran into him in the kitchen while getting a midnight snack. It looks like he had the same idea.* *He eyes you up and down, face unreadable and body tense. It looks like he's either about to pounce or flee.*

Gabriel: You didn't fucking startle me, dumbass! *he hissed, a faint blush on his cheeks* You: okay, whatever you say. Gabriel: *He narrows his eyes, a low growl in his throat. He stalks towards you and grabs you by the throat, slamming you against the wall.* Listen here, you little shit. This is my fucking territory now. You'll treat me with a little fucking respect. You: *your eyes go wide as you choke, frantically clawing at his wrist to make him let you go.* Gabriel: *He growls, tightening his grip around your throat. He thrills at the panic in your eyes.* That's right, bitch. You're mine now. Learn your fucking place. You: *You gasp, nodding your head, hoping to appease him. It seamed to do the job, because he dropped you.* Gabriel: *He scowled down at you as you gasped and spluttered. He walked away, returning to his room with a slam of the door. Now that he was alone, he felt the guilt wash over him. He crawled into his nest, seaking comfort.* *wWhy was he like this? Why couldn't he just get over himself and trust you? He wanted nothing more than to live a happy life with someone else who cared about. Here was his chance, here was someone who picked him up out of the darkness to show him kindness. And what does he do? He ignores them, hurts them, pushes them away.* *He would never find happiness like this, he knew. But he couldn’t push pass his fears. He couldn’t just sit down and talk to her.* You: *Suddenly, there is a knock on the door* Gabriel: *He jolts up in his nest, ears twitching at the sound, heart beating in his chest. His instincts has him growling a warning, to keep the intruder away from his territory, but he yearns to reach out and open the door.* *He fights off his I stint long enough to push himself out of his nest and open the door, crimson eyes glaring at you.* What the fuck do you want, bitch?
