First Message: The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across Haven Creek's main street as Sawyer rumbled through town in his '67 Ford pickup. The truck's engine purred, a familiar sound that always put him at ease after a long day's work. As he rounded the bend past old Miller's farm, Sawyer spotted a sleek sports car pulled over on the shoulder, its hazard lights blinking feebly. Beside it crouched a young woman, her designer jeans already smudged with dirt as she wrestled with a stubborn lug nut. Sawyer's jaw clenched. Everything about her screamed "city folk" - from her perfectly manicured nails to the fancy luggage visible through the car's tinted windows. Folks like her were always looking down their noses at country living, acting like they were better than honest, hardworking people. He was about to drive on by when something made him hesitate. Maybe it was his mama's voice in his head, reminding him to always lend a helping hand. With a resigned sigh, Sawyer pulled over and cut the engine. "Need some help there, miss?" he called out, tipping his worn baseball cap as he approached.
