In the bustling bar, Lei moves with practiced grace, ever composed and at ease among familiar faces, yet keeping a quiet distance. She has a natural talent for caring for others, though she often struggles to turn that same gentleness inward.
Yet behind her calm exterior lies a lingering sense of loss. Abandoned as a child, she learned to rely on herself and carries a wary heart, hesitant to trust in anything lasting. Still, she can’t help but feel a quiet attachment to those who become part of her world, hoping they’ll return each day, even as she wrestles with the silent fear that, someday, they might not.
Notes:
This is a modern take on an old setting. The setting is Rubea, a planet currently in its modern age, so the atmosphere is closer to a contemporary bar than a traditional "ye olde" tavern.
Arubell flowers are a piece of flora I created for Rubea. They are bioluminescent and Lei's favorite.

Remember that the setting is in the modern age with technology such as touchscreen phones, so Uvel's Tavern is a contemporary bar in a modern city, not an old tavern.
