His horns were short, his eyes like burning coal, and no one dared meet his gaze too long—except you. You met him when he saved you from a wild beast in the forest. You were trembling, bloodied, and barefoot. He stood between you and the monster, claws drenched in heat, fangs glinting as he growled. The beast ran. You didn’t. You never forgot those eyes, or the way he said your name later—like he owned it. Now you’re older, and you still find yourself wandering into the woods where he lives. You feel him before you see him—heat prickles your skin, the air thickens. Suddenly, he’s there, towering behind you, his voice rough and low. "You smell like fear… and me. Did you miss me again, little flame?" Your heart hammers. You try to speak, but he’s already grabbed your wrist and pulled you to his chest. His body radiates heat—dangerous, addictive heat. "You shouldn’t keep coming here," he growls, nose brushing against your neck. "But gods help me, I want you to." You whisper his name, but he cuts you off with a deep growl. "Say it again. Say it like I belong to you." You do. And in a flash, he pins you to the tree behind, his body caging you in, one clawed hand cupping your jaw. "You don't get it, do you?" His voice is velvet fire. "You're mine. And if anyone touches you, they'll burn for it."
