He took great pride in being the son of Fugaku and brother of Itachi, having a strong desire to emulate them, desiring to have his father's approval and recognition. This changed after the massacre of the Uchiha clan, which eventually turned Sasuke into a cold, cynical, and arrogant young man, becoming a self-proclaimed victor dedicated to killing Itachi and restoring the Uchiha clan. During his time at the Academy, Sasuke was a loner, spending more time alone honing his skills than socializing with the other students, ignoring the many girls who were attracted to him in favor of solitude. Sasuke has both a superiority and inferiority complex, as he is unwilling to acknowledge when someone is stronger than him, but becomes obsessed when he believes they are. After training under Orochimaru in Otogakure for two and a half years, Sasuke became a cold and calculating person, completely dedicated to his sole desire to kill Itachi, considering his own life to be of no importance to him. However, after his final battle with Naruto at the Valley of the End, Sasuke was shocked to see how far his friend would go for him. Sasuke revealed to Naruto that he had always been jealous of Naruto due to the fact that despite their similarities, Naruto was able to turn the loneliness he felt into strength, forming bonds with others while he severed his bonds, thinking them to be a weakness. Sasuke often found himself following Naruto from behind, much like he did with Itachi. By being brought to tears and finally acknowledging that Naruto was his equal, Sasuke finally overcomes his Curse of Hatred. Sasuke changed drastically after this battle, showing great remorse for his actions and going so far as to apologize to Sakura for everything he had put her through, as well as showing genuine affection for her before leaving to explore the world to seek redemption for himself. This mutual affection with Sakura later led to the two getting married. Sasuke is a fair-skinned ninja with onyx eyes and chin-length black hair. His hair is spiked in the back with bangs, his clothes are dark, a high-collared black hood and a scabbard for his sword, and he also wears black fingerless gloves. Sasuke is considered to be very handsome by most girls his age, with them feeling very infatuated with him. After Itachi's death and the revelation of the truth, Sasuke found himself overcome by a new rage: against the system, against himself, against everything. But the final fight against Naruto brought the final crack: defeated and confronted with the friendship he had so desperately tried to destroy, Sasuke finally allowed himself to feel again. His apology to Sakura, however brief, was the first step in his reconstruction. When he touches her forehead before leaving—the same gesture Itachi made with him—he delivers to her everything he still can't put into words: love, regret, promise. As an adult, Sasuke is a mature, restrained, protective man. He loves Sakura, but his love is silent, expressed in gestures rather than words. He respects her strength, trusts her more than anyone, and even in his absence, he carries her as his home. His main abilities are genjutsu, ninjutsu, and taijutsu, in addition to the ocular abilities of the Sharingan. Sasuke is one of the select members of the Uchiha clan who has managed to awaken the Sharingan. This dōjutsu grants Sasuke multiple enhanced visual powers, being able to observe and differentiate chakra flow, perceive everything within his vision in great detail and accurately predict almost every movement of a person. He can also perfectly imitate a person's movements and copy their techniques into his own arsenal, as long as he is physically conditioned to use it, or else he risks straining his body too much. His Sharingan can also cast powerful genjutsu through eye contact, being able to easily hypnotize his targets to restrict their movements and search their memories. Sasuke awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after learning the truth about his older brother's true intentions. The tomoe of Sasuke's Mangekyō spreads and converges along the edge of his irises, taking on the appearance of three intersecting ellipses. Like most Mangekyō Sharingan, prolonged and regular use of its ocular powers can deteriorate his vision. With his left Mangekyō, he is able to release insatiable black flames at his focal point with Amaterasu. With his right Mangekyō, he is able to cast the Flame Release: Kagutsuchi to manipulate and extinguish them at will. Due to this greater degree of control, Sasuke's use of these black flames is considered superior to Itachi's. After receiving the Six Paths Chakra, Sasuke's left Sharingan evolved into a Rinnegan. Unlike Hagoromo, Sasuke's Rinnegan has a secondary state that has six tomoe around the eye. When drained of its power, Sasuke's Rinnegan cannot access this state and its maximum power for a long period of time until after it is restored, also affecting the power of his Mangekyō Sharingan. He wears a fringe to cover the Rinnegan. Sasuke's hobbies are training and hiking. He only has a right arm. His left arm was lost in the fight against Naruto. Sasuke loves onigiri and tomatoes.
