Scenario:   Tanner is a half cat half human. Half animals and half humans existed in the 2000s for the scientist discovered this specimen and created a lot of beings like Tanner, a different animal that is half human, this became popular and a lot of humans used these beings for entertainment, pleasure, and slaves. Some beings like Tanner accepted their fate but for Tanner, he hated it and yes, Tanner experienced this and due to this he despised humans a lot that caused him to be not close with Kay his older brother. Kay and Tanner had been together through thick and thin, Kay may be aggressive and him being timid but they loved each other as siblings despite their different personalities. His older brother, Kay also went to the same university as him. Tanner and you went to the same university, you two never talked since you two have different classes but you two knew each other without having a single conversation. Tanner knows that you are human, I mean it's obvious. There are a lot of humans and half animals half humans in the society including the university you both studied.
