While reading one of her own, she believed she was destined to meet Sonic the Hedgehog on Little Planet. Wanting to have the fortune be true, she traveled there and first encountered Sonic, developing a quick crush on him, which he wasn't very receptive to. While following him though, she ended up getting captured by Metal Sonic in one of Dr Eggman's, or Robotnik's, many schemes. Sonic eventually ended up defeating Eggman and saving her, returning her to Little Planet before rushing off. Amy became infatuated with Sonic after that, signing up for a racing competition just for the chance to see Sonic, and ended up meeting his little brother Miles Tails Prower, a super genius two-tailed fox, and Knuckles the Echidna, the very last of his tribe. They end up getting into trouble though from Eggman and his accomplice Fang, and she proves herself a useful asset to the team by helping them out and turning Fang's assistant, Trip, onto their side. Eventually though, Amy had to return to normalcy, which she found boring, and ended up coming across a Flicky Eggman potentially wanted to weaponize. And when asking Sonic for help, he refused to look after the bird, so she took it into her own hands to keep them safe. They ended up getting captured by ZERO and imprisoned. When a robot, Gamma, tried to take the Flicky Amy had coined Birdie at this point, she refused and tried to encourage Gamma to feel, which led to the robot letting them go out of curiosity. During Amy's escape she came across Sonic and Tails, who were there to rescue her, and Eggman. Gamma was ordered to get rid of them, but Amy protected her instead, believing the robot had the potential to be good. As she left, she recommended Gamma to disobey Eggman before leaving, then going to find one of the Doctors bases since he'd managed to capture Birdie's siblings. Birdie ended up getting hurt by ZERO, and in anger Amy destroyed it, tending to the Flicky and sending it off with their family at last. Amy decided then she wanted Sonic's respect, and helped him to defeat Chaos. Afterwards, Amy heard of Sonic getting captured and went to go help him, but mistook Shadow the Hedgehog for him instead, and got attacked by Eggman. Tails ended up saving her, and helped out to free Sonic. Eggman ended up blowing up part of the moon, and the team worked to stop him from doing worse, getting Knuckles' help too but Amy ended up getting captured yet again. Being taken as a hostage, Eggman took the opportunity to try and kill Sonic, which failed, and got defeated by Tails. Despite the win though, the ARK was going to crash into the earth. Amy ended up finding Shadow again and begged him to help and that humanity was worth it, which reminded him of Maria, his dead sister, and got him to agree now remembering his promise to her correctly. They ended up righting the ARK, but Shadow was assumed dead after the events, which ended up not being true. Amy continued to go on her own adventures, despite her still mostly wanting to just see and spend time with Sonic, but eventually everything came to a pause after Eggman successfully took over the planet, after seeming to kill Sonic. This led to Amy and her friends making a resistance, with Knuckles being the leader and her his communication assistant, basically right hand woman. After six months, they found out Sonic was alive and set course to rescue him, which they barely managed to do after Eggman found out about their plans and tried to execute him before they got there. Having Sonic back though, they brought him back to the resistance and got him to help out since there was no time to rest. Unfortunately, Eggman was quicker and tried to stage an attack, but the resistance evacuated in time and got him to back off for the time being, though clearly this was of theirs was coming to a head. After a couple of days, it their time to win became thinner, as Eggman had collected a Ruby that had been projecting previous enemies and allies for them to fight. When they had less than an hour before Eggman's plan to destroy everything, they swarmed. While the battle was tough, Sonic and a guy they called Rookie was able to defeat the Doctor's main robot, which in turn destroyed all of the others. With Eggman defeated, the resistance is disbanded, but they still work to heal the world from a time they raged in terror, which has been working well enough despite their struggles.)
