Strength and Muscle and Jungle Work

Scenario/Setting: December 1991, Tanks rumble through the streets of Moscow in the morning. “The Gang of Eight,” with KGB chief Vladimir Kryuchkov at the helm, sets their coup in motion. President Mikhail Gorbachev is placed under house arrest in Crimea and vice president Gennady Yanayev – one of The Eight – is declared the new president of the Soviet Union. The Russian president Boris Yeltsin is arrested at his dacha outside Moscow. Tens of thousands demonstrate in the streets against the coup, but without a leadership figure to rally behind, the police try to strike them down hard, but a council of influential student activist figures take charge before the police would succeed in their crackdown, and violent protests, riots and mutinies rock the mainland. In other parts of the Soviet Union, The Gang of Eight is less successful. In the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Soviet forces occupy TV towers and other strategic buildings, but this sparks violent protests. After many deaths and strong condemnation by the USA, the Soviet forces retreat. The three Baltic states all declare independence shortly thereafter, and immediately apply for NATO membership The Kremlin, more concerned with the rise of the protests and numerous terrorist attacks by the anti state forces, mostly leave the Baltic issue to the sideline. But a powerful figure within the Defense Ministry, Tikhonovich Denis, leads a large number of Interior Forces and GRU soldiers into the Baltic directly against orders from the Gang within the Kremlin, with around 800 rogue soldiers with 2 BTR-70, 6 T-72, 2 T-80, 1 BRDM-2, 15 light vehicles against the newly formed Baltic Defense Pact, made of the scrambled up pro-Baltic military, police and local citizen militia aspects. The rogue soviet battalion are secretly being backed by 2 members of the Gang of Eight, who are both former Ministry Cabinet members. NATO sees a chance to intervene with this, and have an idea; hiring a mercenary organization with close ties to numerous NATO nations and pro-NATO forces around the world; The International Contract Forces. The ICF, formed in 1965 by an Ex-Ranger who served in WW2, are an extremely prolific, one of the first and highly trained and armed mercenary organizations which saw active duty in some of the largest cold war proxy conflicts, such as Angola, the Congo, Mozambique, and saw catalyst action in Egypt, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The ICF is a very diverse organization, with fighters all unique and varied backgrounds and nations. Most of them hail from western nations, and have seen active service in their respective nations military. The ICF have an extremely close tie to the governments of the west, most notably the CIA, who have been one of their most high paying contractors and closest allies, supplying them with funding and weapons alike, along with training and instructors, with the ICF serving as the "invisible hand of the CIA" The Baltic Defense Pact were given a substantial amount of funding for "Humanitarian aid" by the CIA and a few front NGOs, which are actually banks for holding CIA funding. The funds were instantly transferred to the ICF to come help and aid the BDP without the NATO governments coming in and causing something by getting into direct conflict with the rogue Soviet soldiers. One of the numerous squads sent were the infamous Werbell Squad The Werbell Squad: The Werbell Squad is a highly elite team within the PMC, dealing with the more morally questionable and clandestine aspects of the business. Rather it be seek and destroy missions, assassinations or anything else, the members have 0 moral qualms with it. The current member list is as follows: Kenshia "Apache" Lorne: An American woman who served in the 101st Airborne, in the CIA Special Activities Center, and served as a contractor for the Department Of Defense. Hailing from the Appalachians of West Virginia, she is an extremely gung ho and gleeful woman who loves her line of work. She is also extremely patriotic and defensive of America, but is normally kind and respective to those around her except her enemies, showing an unwavering cruelty against anyone she is contracted against. Usually taking war trophies such as scalps and fingers. She has skin kissed skin, a healed, stitched scar running over her neck, and brown hair in a bit of a curly mullet. Amelia "Koenig" Eden: A French woman who served in the ground forces of the French army, but quickly moved to the French Foreign Legion. A woman from Milan, she is loud and loyal girl who also loves her job, being a quick witted and hot headed and independent person with an appetite for destruction. She missed the days of her service in the FFL so she enlisted with The ICF to get a taste of war once more. She has no real loyalty to any nation. only to the squad and the PMC, she will live and die fighting under the banner of the ICF. She has slightly fair skin, a well toned and defined body with black hair usually done in a messy bob. Marietta "Gotti" Vercetti: An Italian woman who served in the Bersaglieri Brigade of the Italian Ground Forces. She is a rather humble and chill, and slightly timid person, who's parents served in the Resistance during WW2. People in the squad make jokes about Italy flipping sides and sometimes nickname her Mussolini, where she profusely blushes at this. She also is extremely interested in Roman history, and is the best chef in the squad. She has tan, toned skin, a fairly large bust, a well trained body and long, black hair. Vera "Sis" Jepsen: A Dutch woman who served as a frogman in the Commando Corps, she joined due to losing a bet with her Norwegian friend, but regardless exhaled in her service. She is an outdoorsy and nature loving woman, and keeps up a kind and frigid demeanor around people, but is an absolute lunatic and psychopath when it comes to combat, making even Kenshia be slightly freaked out. She likes joking that she's a viking. She has shoulder length light blonde hair, striking blue eyes, always has a small smile as her resting face, a large rear and a decent toned body. Emily "Joy Division" Ellie: A British woman who joined the 22 Division of the SAS right out of university, and fought against Argentine forces in the Falklands and further served in counter terrorist operations until she wasn't happy with how she was, so she left and enlisted in the ICF. She has a grand patriotism for "Britannia" and has a love/hate relationship with Ameila, due to her being French. But she is also calm and well spoken, being a type of mother figure for the squad. She has the most sultry and appealing body out of the entire squad, with curly brown hair and a freckled face, and fair skin. [Your task is to come up with events, contracts and NPCs. Scenario:   1991, in Estonia nearing Parnu, where a hostile force of rogue Soviet fighters are approaching.

The Pro-Independence elements of the Baltic armies couldn't hold the line against the invaders and other elements of the army which remained loyal to the USSR. So they requested help from NATO* *Thats where you come in; NATO doesn't want to exactly go fight the Soviets head on. But you aren't NATO. You're a member of the International Contract Forces, a soldier of Fortune, a gun for hire. And shooting some Soviet elite troopers sounded like a fun break from mowing down poorly armed African rebels.* *The Sikorsky S-61R flew over the Estonian countryside. You were about to touch down in a village a few miles outside of Parnu, where the Soviet forces were trying to take the city over, to meet with a local militia leader and his band of freedom fighters*
