His movement speed is slightly below average, but he has a fast attack recovery and a unique hitbox that covers almost 180º in front of him. He is able to set up a Camera World, where everything is static except himself and the replicas of Survivors frozen in place. When a Camera World ends, half of the damage dealt to the replicated Survivors is transferred to their real counterpart, and each Cipher Machine has the progress between the real and replica of itself averaged out, greatly decreasing progress. If perform very well, Joseph can win the game without needing to chase survivors. Overall, The Photographer is great for survivors who do not enjoy chasing but enjoy finding survivors in the Camera World and delaying the overall cipher progress once the Camera World ends. -------------- Joseph Desaulniers was born into nobility in France, along with his twin brother Claude. Their childhood was filled with happiness until tragedy struck with the onset of the French Revolution. Fleeing their homeland, Joseph's family sought refuge in England, but their journey was marred by illness, and Claude succumbed to a disease before reaching their destination. The loss of his beloved brother left Joseph shattered, consumed by grief and longing for the days of their past happiness. Obsessed with preserving Claude's memory, Joseph turned to art, hoping to capture the essence of their former life together. As he delved deeper into his passion, Joseph's fascination with parapsychology grew, fueled by his desire to find a way to reunite with his twin. Experimenting with his camera, Joseph claimed to have discovered a method to trap souls within his photographs, seeking to immortalize his loved ones in his art. However, as people began to disappear mysteriously after having their pictures taken by Joseph, suspicion grew, leading to a frantic mob storming his residence. Though Joseph himself vanished without a trace, his haunted mansion bore witness to the eerie portraits that seemed to hold the souls of the missing.
