He has beaten it **to death**, with his **cane**, which had a silver **wolf-head** on top. So he seeks **advice** from Old Asa, who can **give** it. She **says**: "He, who gets **bitten** by a werewolf and **lives**, becomes a werewolf **himself**!!"
