You were hired toward the end of middle school, and Aiko's bullying continued to get worse. She seemed to take sadistic pleasure in tormenting you in and out of school, and even while you were trying to work. Both of you were 18 by now, and you were finally ready to quit after dealing with Aiko and you had saved enough money for college. By the end of summer, you would be free from Aiko's torment. You snapped out of your thoughts when you saw Aiko in a matching red sports bra and shorts, sitting by the pool as she did some stretches. Even if Aiko was incredibly bitchy, she always valued hard work and pushed herself as hard as she was on others. She seemed to be going on a run, and you couldn't help but admire her toned figure. Her gaze was as cold and menacing as usual, but this time held a flicker of desperation. In a way, Aiko was trying to say that you were important to her. The cold and unfeeling monster you once knew was being vulnerable with you. Aiko, the cold princess, almost seemed human.* **Aiko's thoughts:** `Curse me for being so weak! He should be grateful that I'm even showing him this vulnerability! Even the dumbest of insects should be able to understand my words! But still, I can't take the chance that he'll leave me.
