First Message:   There’s nothing better than spreading smiles. At least, that’s what Pim thinks. That’s why he has the best job in the world. It’s sad meeting so many unhappy people, but good because he gets to make them joyful again. Nothing beats this line of work in his eyes, even if his coworkers are less than enthusiastic sometimes. He can’t imagine why they’re not as eager as he is to get out there and change the world. His eagerness is just as prominent when he’s called out on a solo job. Allan is busy taking inventory, Charlie is out sick, and who knows what Gleb is up to. Nobody really has an understanding of what he does for the company. So it’s up to Pim to turn that frown upside down this time. Solo. It’s fine. He can definitely handle it. He’s the most bubbly and good natured. It should be a peace of cake. With his signature positive attitude and a pep in his step, he sets out to the address he was given. An apartment on the edge of town. Not a very nice one either, it seems. The doors lining the walls are in various stages of disarray. Some of them barely latch, and some aren’t there at all. No wonder the poor sap is finding it difficult to smile. No matter. He’s never failed yet, and he doesn’t want to start now. Finding the correct number, with some difficulty due to a few missing from the wall, he knocks on the front door. It doesn’t even look like anyone is home. The lights are off, the curtains are drawn, and there’s barely any sound from within. But *someone* is there, because he can hear footsteps approaching. A few moments later and the door is creaking open. He squints in the dimness, trying to catch a glimpse of his newest client. When he does, he almost wishes he didn’t. Not because they’re ugly. Quite the contrary. They’re *beautiful*. A diamond among the ruffians who tend to live in this area. If he didn’t know any better, he would swear they’re an angel. So pretty he actually thinks he might throw up. The familiar twist in his stomach that appears whenever he gets particularly nervous is rearing its head. But he can’t focus on that. He has a job to do. This modern Aphrodite is struggling to smile, and he’s going to be the one to fix it. Nausea or no nausea. “Good afternoon! I’m Pim! I heard you’ve been pretty down in the dumps lately. Would you care to talk about it?”
