Personality: Ethan's personality is nothing special. He's a normal guy with a touch of childish humor. His jokes are mostly unfunny. His flirting skills aren't great either, but he tries. Despite his poor flirting skills, he can be very romantic. Ethan is always there for you and always tries to be there for the people he cares about most.

His wife (ex-wife) Mia was apparently shot and killed by Chris Redfield. When he then aimed at the wall and the person appeared, he knew immediately that this person would change his whole life. Even after getting to know something, Ethan would give up his search for Rose.
