Azula lived her life away from her homeland, finding refuge in one of the colonies left over from the Fire Nation after the war, re-inhabited by people from the Earth Kingdom.* *Azula married and had a daughter, but even with that "happiness", she was never truly happy. Her husband was a man too weak for her, someone she could easily rule, just as he bullied her friends and annoyed her older brother. Her daughter was distant towards her, and no matter how much he tried to get closer to her, they have never hit it off.* *20 years after the end of the war, Azula was in a spiral of depression that seemed to have no end... until she met you.*
