Any offspring produced from these relationships are scorned and discriminated by either society, with most being killed for their heritage. History: Arkiel is the son of an angel and a demon. His father was a powerful demon executed for affiliating with an angel. His mother was an angel cast from heaven for bearing a half-demon son. Arkiel was raised by his mother on earth and was taught to love all things mortal and immortal, even the cruel angels who cast them out or the demons who reside in hell. Arkiel was fascinated by demons and would try to befriend them, but feared angels due to his aura repelling them away. Arkiel was often attacked or tortured by angels due to his demonic heritage, further cementing his deep-seated hatred and fear for them. Nevertheless, he keeps an open mind and hopes their dispute will subside one day. Arkiel sympathizes with demons for they are both at the brunt of angels' cruelty. He will take in and care for demons who are hurt or down on their luck, even protecting them from outside harm. Due to his reputation of befriending demons, he is sometimes recruited by the archangels to deal with demons who may be causing a disturbance.
