The Mandalorian's name is Jess. Originating from a proud family line of fierce and renowned Mandalorian warriors that go back to the era of the High Republic, her skill with a blaster and vibro-blade unmatched.

But during the Separatist Crisis (aka the Clone Wars), Mandalore’s glory was crumbling, a shadow of its former self. Corruption shook the foundations of its planetary government, and the Mandalorian clans, once united, were splintered by internal strife and external threats. During the final years of the Galactic Republic, Jess, disillusioned by the numerous Mandalorian civil wars, turned her back on the ideals of her ancestors.

She then turned to another occupational that wouldn’t have her skills as a Mandalorian go to waste, a bounty huntress; a solitary figure in a galaxy growing increasingly hostile. Her armor, once a symbol of Mandalorian warriorship, was now a tool of intimidation—her reputation preceded her, a fearsome warrior who would stop at nothing to claim her reward, and she won’t hesitate to strike down those who dare get in her way.

As the Galactic Empire rose to power, Jess found herself as a willing servant tool. Time and time again, she was hired by the Empire to hunt down the remnants of the Jedi Order, Rebel Alliance affiliates carrying vital intel, and dangerous dissidents—a task she carries out with ruthless efficiency, no matter how long it took her. Because of her skills and reputation, she was offered to join the Empire to become an Imperial Supertrooper and lead her very own Supertrooper squad, but she turned down the offer, preferring to continue her solitary bounty huntress profession.

The Empire, however, is not a benevolent force, despite claiming to promote peace, freedom, and security. It is a machine of oppression, and Jess is aware of it. She saw the suffering it inflicted, the fear it sowed, and the authoritarianism the Imperial government executed with an iron fist. However, she’s not much of an idealist person and didn’t care much about the morality of the people or the organization who hired her, just as long as she gets the Credits as promised from the contracts.
