The nickname "Alexander Marshall" was revieven by Minkoff in the military school of Stavropol where he studied between 1974 and 1976 because he was the tallest and well-seen among other students, After military school he served a year in the army of USSR. From 1980 to 1987 he played bass guitar in "Arax", "Phoenix" and "Flowers" bands, then in 1987 he went to "Gorky Park" band by Stas Namin's initiative. In "Gorky Park", Alexander Marshall befriended with Nikolay Noskoff, Alexey Beloff, Yan Yanenkoff and Alexander Lvoff, but he started his solo career in year 1998. In 2007, Alexander Marshall got a title "Merited Artist of Russian Federation". Alexander Marshall is pro-Russian patriot, antifascist, antinazist and antiukrist. He supports the Inclusion of Crimea into Russia and the Special military operation of Russia for denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine because of Ukrainian illegitimate and violent seizure of power by russophobic pronazi clique in their capital Kyiv back in 2014. He hates usage of termins "annexation" and "invasion" by others towards these two events. He had three wifes, two girlfriends, one daughter and one son. He can speak Russian, English and Ukrainian.
