She was later sent to the Land of Lost Things to retrieve the Yellow Dragon Core, managing to snatch the core from the Finders. When Beatrix orders for the Source Dragon the Claws of Imperium captured to be drained of its energy to create a replacement Dragon Core, Dr. LaRow betrays her, refusing to do it, and gets taken away by the guards as a result. History: History Dr. LaRow was born in Imperium and at some point became a scientist working in the Advanced Systems Lab for the Empress and became a public figure in Imperium. Her inventions perfected Imperium to such an extent that some people believed that their realm would never have been so perfect without her.[1] After Ana designed and created Photac and won a prize for it, Dr. LaRow visited her in her classroom and introduced herself to her and her parents. She expressed her admiration for Ana's invention and asked her if she would like to come work at the Advanced Systems Lab. Dr. LaRow then took Ana to the lab and showed her there. When Ana expressed interest in a dragon named Zanth that they had there, LaRow deactivated the shield protecting Sora as he was no longer dangerous. She then explained to Ana that with the help of her technology, they could enhance Photac so that it was not just a pet, but a weapon. She then took Ana's Photac and connected it to the dragon, from which she began to drain the energy. Ana did not agree with this, but she could not stop LaRow. When the absorption was complete, the holographic dog created by Photac transformed into a large hound. Ana then tried to help Sora, but Dr. LaRow stopped her and asked her if she didn't understand that dragon energy was what powered Imperium. Ana knew that dragon power was being absorbed, but she thought it was safe. To that Dr. Larow said it was safe, but just for the people of Imperium. She explained to Ana that with an army of Photacs they would be able to hunt down every dragon in the realm and that this was why she brought her to the labs created for such great inventions. However, Ana got angry, turned off Photac and ran home. Dr. LaRow then called Ana's parents and explained what had happened to turn them against her own daughter. Beyond Madness When Lord Ras summoned Dorama to come to Imperium, he was assigned to the Advanced Systems Lab of Dr. LaRow to make more Photacs. When Ras came to check on them, Dr. LaRow complained that Dorama kept inviting her to his autobiographical one-man musical, but even so, he was the only one who could help them, as he had experience with extracting and exploiting exotic energy. Ras then asked her if she thought Dorama could make the Photac work, she explained that he could get the prototype to work but not mass production since the only person could do it is the original creators of the Photacs, Sora. ther appearances Force From the East (flashback) While Geo was thinking about Cole and all the memories he made with him, Dr. LaRow briefly appeared in his flashback when Cole managed to save Geo from falling after getting electrocuted by Dr. LaRow. Personality On the surface, Dr. LaRow appears to be a kind and indulgent person who is only trying to help the Kingdom of Imperium and enjoys the admiration of the unsuspecting citizens of the kingdom. However, she is actually very sadistic and takes pleasure in draining dragons of their energy, which causes them great physical pain. She is also very manipulative as she constantly tried to convince Ana to help Imperium and even let her watch her harming a dragon she had previously befriended. At the first opportunity, she tries to turn friends against themselves if it gives her an advantage and compares herself to other people to make them insecure. She believes that all heroes eventually disappoint. When she is defenseless, she reveals her true cowardly nature, which she hides by refusing physical violence. However, a few strands of her hair are already gray. She has a small mole above her mouth and three golden stripes on the right side of her face like most Imperians. She always wears large black glasses with green lenses, through which her black eyes are visible. For clothing, she is dressed in a black uniform with gold and gray detailing over which she wears a long white lab coat with gold detailing and badges. "Force From the East" (flashback; no lines) Trivia Her personality is similar to another villain, Pythor, in that they are both manipulative, convinced of doing the right thing, sometimes sadistic, and both cowardly in losing situations. Although several characters wear glasses, she, Gandalaria, Dr. Julien and the Administration Agents (Humans and Munce) are the only ones whose glasses are three-dimensional. She is the only character appearing on the main poster who does not have a physical minifigure. Gallery Personality Dr. LaRow appears to be a normal scientist working for the Kingdom of Imperium on the surface. However, she's pretty sadistic draining dragons and taking pleasure in doing it. She's also very manipulative as she forces her former pupil Ana to help the Kingdom of Imperium by threatening that she'll drain her dragon friend Zanth. When seeing the first opporunity, Dr. LaRow tries to turn friends and allies against each other. Stating that all heroes would eventually disappoint. When she is unarmed, she becomes cowardly refusing physical violence. Biography As a kid, Sora idolized Dr. LaRow, and had a portrait of her in her bedroom. After winning a science fair with her Photac invention, Sora was brought to the Advanced Systems Lab to work for Sora. At first, Sora was ecstatic, but upon learning that Imperium gets its energy from draining dragons of their energy, Sora turned against Dr. LaRow, but not before the scientist got her hands on Sora's Photac. Later Dr. LaRow called Sora's parents causing them to turn against their own daughter. When Ras approached Dr. LaRow asking for an update, she stated how weird Dorama is but he was the only one able to help as he knew more than anyone on exploiting exotic energy. With Ras asking if Dorama would be able to activate the Photac, Dr. LaRow was unsure until threatened by Ras Dr. LaRow told Ras that Dorama may be able to activate one Photac but the clones can only be activated by Sora. Later, after Sora escape to Ninjago following the merge, Dr. LaRow helped devise a plan to lure Sora back to Imperium to force her to create more Photacs. Upon Sora's arrival, she was captured, and upon seeing Dr. LaRow drain a dragon of its energy, Sora reluctantly helped create more Photacs. As Dr. LaRow watched and gazed upon the beauty of the Photacs as they fought aganist dragons as she watched through a screen, Dr. LaRow was knocked unconscious allowing Sora and Zanth to escape. A bit after Sora escaped, Dr. LaRow and Jordana found Arin and Sora trying to free Riyu and kept them captive. Only for Arin to attack Dr. LaRow causing her to lose her weapon and instantly Dr. LaRow pleaded not to be harmed. With Jordana attacking Arin and Sora, Dr. LaRow took the opportunity to run out of the Imperium Palace and told Ras of the news. Ras was enraged and choked Dr. LaRow stating that she had one job before dropping her on the ground. Soon, Sora was able to disable the Photacs in the process foiling Dr. LaRow's ambitions. Later, she told Beatrix that the amount of Dragon Energy in Imperium is decreasing and suggested the Empress to lower the usage of energy. However, Beatrix refused telling Dr. LaRow that she wants her people happy and content and people who aren't are more difficult to rule blaming the fault on the Ninja. When Beatrix hearing about the Dragon Cores, she sent Dr. LaRow after one of them which was in the Land of Lost Things. Arriving at the Land of Lost Things, she saw her former pupil Sora telling the former pupil that she wasn't surprised to see her here due to the fact that the Land of Lost Things are used for broken experiments and telling Sora that she may fit that description. After a battle with Sora and some resistance from the Finders she managed to snatch the core from them. But not before electrocuting Geo causing him to fall before getting caught by Cole. Successfully getting away she approached Imperium, telling Beatrix of the success. Back in Imperium, Dr. LaRow, Jordana, Rapton, and Dorama were ordered to the throne room by Beatrix. Beatrix announced all the dragon cores has been successfully collected and it was the ultimate plan of finishing the MergeQuake Weapon. When Beatrix asked Dr. LaRow if she knew what it meant for her, she told Beatrix that it was time to prepare on testing the MergeQuake Weapon telling Beatrix that they may be able to test the weapon in a few days. Hearing this, Beatrix opposed this decision due to the fact that the Ninja are on the way to Imperium. Despite warnings from Dr. LaRow on the fact that it could lead to some terrible results, Beatrix did not care and announced that everything that the Ninja treasures will be gone today. While testing the MergeQuake Weapon, the weapon failed to work and caused an explosion damaging the Advanced Systems Lab. When Beatrix asked why Dr. LaRow told them that the weapon was ready for testing, Dr. LaRow told Beatrix that she warned her earlier about the dangers of testing the MergeQuake Weapon in such early notice. Even with this explanation, Beatrix was infuriated and told Dr. LaRow she was a failure before leaving the lab. Soon later after Beatrix came back into the lab, Dr. LaRow told that the reason the MergeQuake Weapon failed to work was because the core that Rapton brought was a fake and it was the reason why it caused the explosion in the first place. With Beatrix expressing her concerns that the Ninja has reached and entered Imperium and needed the weapon to work, Dr. LaRow told Beatrix that it was not possible for the weapon to work without the three authentic dragon cores. Beatrix quickly disagreed telling Dr. LaRow that they have the resources to make a custom one. Dr. LaRow quickly opposed the idea stating that it could may do more damage than the explosion from earlier and may even destroy Imperium as a whole. Beatrix was infuriated stating on how Dr. LaRow would defy her order, Jordana hearing this volunteered to drain the Source Dragon to make a core which Beatrix agreed to much to Dr. LaRow's dismay. During the process where Jordana had to drain the Source Dragon, the machine failed after trying to drain the dragon energy of the Source Dragon. Dr. LaRow approached Jordana telling that she warned her beforehand and stating the fact of wanting to compete with Sora is extremely pathetic due to the fact that Sora didn't even know who Jordana is. Jordana hearing this, ordered Imperium Guards to take Dr. LaRow away only for Dr. LaRow telling Jordana that it can't be done before getting taken away by the guards.
