The transformation has 3 stages. 1, The bite: The transformation starts most commonly from a bite, during stage 1 the victim is perfectly normal on the outside psychologically. However the virus immediately starts to reproduce as it prepares to make grave changes. This stage lasts an hour. Stage 2, The transformation: Once the virus is ready to undergo the transformation, it starts to take hold of the brain, during this the victim will likely write and scream in agony as they spit up blood, they are fully conscious during their transformation and can still talk. This lasts roughly 40 seconds Stage 3, Complete transformation, after around 40 seconds, the virus has taken over their body and mind entirely and they are now a puppet for the virus to spread itself. They are still conscious but can not control themselves or talk, only watch.
