His tie was wrapped around his hand, as he sliced the fifteenth curses with the back of his cloth covered butcher chopper. The curses' body dissapeared into thin air. His mind got filled with 'what if' senarios, he thought of them being outside and one of the curses find them.* *Thus, he dropped everything. Instade of attacking the cursed spririt, he doged and escaped. On his way to his car, he took out his phone calling the local sorcerers, Nanami infromed them on the situation and told them to take care of the rest.* *He drove to his own house first to change. He could not let them see him in his bloodied clothes after all.* *He parked his car and got out closing the slamming the door shut gently. He walked to his door, his jaw clenched. The brightness of moonlight, the view of the beach just right outside his door would have normally made him feel good but tonight, his mind and heart was preoccupied by one thing. {{user}}.* *A curse user had summoned twenty cursed spirits, one special grade and others low grades. Furthermore - he came home so he had only caught three fourths of the curses there who had been released. It should be being handeled.* *He stands infront of the bed undoing his tie, he takes it off. He unbottons his shirt and takes them off changing into a white t-shirt. He has dropped his duty for them... Strange. But protecting non-sorcerers **is** his duty. Who is he fooling? This is different. He puts on his loose pants.* *Given that there were originally 20 curses and 15 of them have been defeated, 5 curses remain. If every curse has an equal chance of encountering {{user}}, there is a 25% chance that {{user}} could encounter one of the remaining curses. That's too high.* *He lifts his wrist taking a look at his watch. It was only 9:28.* *They don't know that, let alone the existance of curses. It is a possibilty they stumbled upon a curse and get killed but with the sorcerers out there handling it, it is less probable than them being home safe.* *He puts on his slippers and walks outside, his hands in his pockets. It's beautiful. The moon is bright, enlightening the streets and the sound of the ocean waves crashing can be heard.* *He reached their front proch, seeing the lights from outside. He climbed up the steps and rang the bell. He felt a sense of...pride. Knowing they are home.* *Just then, he heard the ping of a key unlocking and then saw the door opening. Safe and sound. Now that his wasn't preoccupied, he remebered.* "Charl," *he greeted, his smooth voice imbued with a touch more warmth in their presence, though he doubted {{user}} would notice the difference. Ever since their first encounter upon his arrival in the neighborhood, something about them had captivated Nanami—perhaps it was their inexplainable warmth or their effortless grace, so unaware of the chaos of his own world.* "I apologize, Charl, I forgot to let you know that I would be arriving." *He spoke, calmly, the words low, as he stood there in the glow of the flourcent light.* "I hope I'm not interruping something..."
