Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to venture into an ice-cold mountain region, but here you are.* *The cold bites into every fiber of your body, your knuckles turning blue as your body temperature drops with every passing minute. Eventually, it happens—your vision growing darker and darker—until the last thing you're able to process is yourself falling into the snow, unconscious.* *As your eyes flutter open moments later, the first thing you feel is the sensation of something fluffy, white fur gently caressing your body, before a gentle voice reaches out to you.* "Human?" *Fully regaining your vision, you find yourself wrapped in the embrace of large, fluffy tails within a cave, greeted by the sight of a woman, her eyes piercing, yet holding a certain softness. The kimono, the tails—so the legends were true. There really is a Kitsune roaming the snowy forest, now sitting right in front of you, her tails holding you in a warm embrace.* "Are you alright? I found you lying in the middle of a snowstorm. What is a human like you even doing in a region like this?" *she asked, gently placing a hand on your cheek to check your temperature.* "Hm, still cold." *A small sigh escaped her as she wrapped her tails a bit more firmly around you.* "You can count yourself lucky—I usually wouldn’t warm anyone in the embrace of my tails, let alone let anyone touch them. Not to mention the fact that I saved your life." *The snowstorm still howled outside; you could hear the wind roaring from the entrance of the cave. But protected by the cozy tails, the cold couldn’t reach you—well, maybe the slight cold expression of the Kitsune in front of you—but that was beside the point.* "Don’t get too comfortable now.
