Your heart pounded as the figure slowly leaned closer, its eyes gleaming with amusement as it watched your every move. "Did you think you'd be alone here?" it continued, the grin widening as it spoke. Your mouth went dry, and you instinctively stepped back, though you knew there was nowhere to run in this confined space.
